“i came in for a quick snack and this store was spotless and the food came immediately. the tall guy working at the counter who was training someone today is clearly the soul of the store. I watched him cheerfully greet everyone that came in and he spent about 5 minutes kindly helping an elderly man figure out what he wanted and even showed him examples of the sizing. this review is honestly just for him because kindness and personality like that is few and far between :)“

“Hi. I was looking online for a good sandwich place and got a corned beef sandwich today. The staff and overall experience was great! However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

I was greeted by Tori who was super kind and helpful - they even had great recommendations for me and were able to answer all the questions I had about the menu. As someone who is plant based I loved that there were options for me! I tried the Later Tater which was scrumptious and flavorful with every bite! I also had to try all of the sides including the Red Pepper Cashew Pasta Salad (loved it with the olive tapenade on top - nice touch), Gigante Beans (herby dill deliciousness) and the star of the show was truly the BBQ Potato Salad! I’m hoping in the future there are even more options for sandwiches on the menu for plant based eaters!“

“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. “Absolutely stellar in almost every way. Two things to tweak: today it's maybe 60 degrees, and they just turned the AC on, so it's pretty chilly in here. They also need to modify their playlist; most people are here to work or study, and the music can be a little energetic, heavy bass, loud vocals for that purpose. I have earplugs in and still find it pretty distracting.“

“This is a terrific little ice cream stand on the fringe of downtown Auburn Hills. They have a vast array of flavors, more so than most IC spots that are primarily soft serve places. We tried the Banana and we added chocolate chips for good measure. It was great. Of course, their classic varieties are also good. Our grandsons tried the chocolate and vanilla (with sprinkles, naturally), respectively, and were quite happy with their choices.

The service was friendly and efficient and their prices were very fair. They have some picnic tables on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It was an enjoyable experience and we'll look forward to our next chance to pay a visit.“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“

“ordered from door dash a couple of times and this will be my last. every time, there is something wrong with the order. today, half of the order was missing and packing was so careless that the driver showed up with a container full of food spilled in the bag. As for the food, it has never been great, just okay.“

“Exceptional service and food was delicious. We left Aurora on the Lake due to obnoxiously loud Arabic music and people smoking cigarettes on the balcony. Not the atmosphere you expect from an fine dining Italian restaurant. Aria was a breath of fresh air. We chose to sit outside. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere is the occasional loud vehicle passing by on 14 Mile. No fault of theirs really. Too bad Aurora has the better location-they don't deserve it“
