“I order fairly regularly the tacos and chips and dips. All have been quite flavorful and delicious. I've been less impressed by the bowls and burritos as in general all can be overpowered by sauces. Great rewards program gives discounts and points often. The interior is fun but this store is a bit dark on the interior making it hard to read menus. Service is friendly and standard for service these days. Easy online ordering and pickup. Overall great if your looking for more American-styled Mexican food with punchy flavors.“

“Hi. I was looking online for a good sandwich place and got a corned beef sandwich today. The staff and overall experience was great! However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

The salad was okay A bit small and you had gotten four yoza with the combination platter. “At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“

“Food and service were good. I was disappointed that there were not more GF options on the menu. I chose the one option I saw in the entree section that was GF. The scallops were tasty, as was the Parmesan risotto, but the rice was a very crunchy al dente. My husband said his burger was possibly the best he ever had.“

“Food is pretty cool, service usually is on point…. Staff is pretty cool, with the exception of the little middle eastern chic, rarely do i see her without an attitude, just comes off incredibly childish IMO.

Outside of that, usually mines and others that we have recommended this cafe too, usually mess with it… the steak bowl (forgot the name of it) never falls short of amazing. Not to over hype

The Snowman Cream Donuts were adorable and delicious, the Coffee Croissant Donuts were perfectly glazed, and the croissant donuts were soft, flaky, and super tasty. “I had the Chicken Athena tonight. Outstanding! Fresh ingredients including fresh olives, and chicken. You could pay 2-3 times more at other restaurants, and not nearly as good as Christine's. This place is a real find!“

“We ate a late lunch today and weren’t wanting dinner really. So we decided to go out for dessert instead. We tried Shock Gelato for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was very nice. I held the door for a group of lady customers as I was entering and they were exiting. I heard them say, “I love this place.” A group of young people that came in behind me shortly after were speaking amongst themselves while we were waiting to be served. They were also taking about how much they love this place and how they were here at the Grand Opening or first day open. I knew I had made a good choice.

Kenny and Olivia were the servers and they did an excellent job taking care of the guests. The place was busier than I imagined a frozen dessert style restaurant would be on a late Sunday evening. Regardless everyone was served swiftly but with attention to detail. We had a group of seven and at least three groups of 5 or more came in behind us. I didn’t see one customer that was dissatisfied whatsoever.

There are so many flavors in the showcase. I wanted to try them all!!! I understand that they rotate the flavors too so perhaps next time will be a totally different experience. I can’t wait to come back and try some more. They do allow you to sample multiple flavors. I tried 3-4 before just placing my order. I don’t think that it’s possible to pick a bad flavor. I ordered the largest size so that I could get three flavors. All three were splendid. I’m already excited for my next visit.“
