At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. We had Kal's for the first time today, and my goodness it was so delicious! We enjoyed a cream chicken bowl with hummus; the loaded Falafel starter; and fattoush salad. It was absolutely delightful how fresh everything was. The cream chicken bowl was wonderful, the chicken was tender and crispy on the outside. the salad was the freshest I've had in ages. The food consistently satisfies cravings, featuring high quality ingredients and abundant flavor. The service is consistently excellent, and the owners are always welcoming and accommodating regarding substitutions or dietary restrictions. The food is fairly priced and possesses that homemade taste. The best Mediterranean food is available, with a falafel bowl that is loved. The grilled veggies have a delicious grilled char. The falafel is so good, and the lentil soup is always perfect and full of flavor. The BEST AMBA SAUCE is possibly the best ever had. The falafel with the Amba Sauce is truly divine. The rice is delicious, and the rare saffron rice is a highlight. A fattoush salad, chicken on the side, and grape leaves are also available. KAL's catered a wedding and the guests raved about the food. It is a must for Mediterranean lovers.
