I came in on a Sunday, during the Lions game. My friend and I were the only two patrons in the distillery. I decided to partake in a flight of whiskey while my friend had a cocktail. I appreciate a distillery that is comfortable in their identity and love to experiment. Was it the best whiskey I have had? No, but there was great complexity and execution in every poor. Haven’t tried ‘em all. Fascinating grain choices for their small batch whiskeys. Haven’t had a drop that disappointed. Incredible how much care goes into their product. Terrified of the day when they realize they’re undercharging.
