Let me start off: KAL's lived up to the hype. I've always been curious driving by but I was especially curious after I saw all the glowing reviews.I got a beef shawarma bowl with all my favorite fixings and was left thoroughly satisfied and happy. They were super friendly and, since we were sitting right by the window, they checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy.I'll be coming back here as often as I can.Wheelchair accessibility: Same level from the street/parking lot all the way to the order window. Automatic doors on the entrances to the Farmer's Market building.
We’ve both eaten in, carried out and catered from KAL’s. Amazing food at reasonable prices, and they’re careful with food allergies including gluten free, which is important in our family.

Little hole in the wall mediterranean spot at the Royal Oak farmers market. Hands down some of the best I had in the area! Super nice people and food was beyond fresh. Both the chicken shawarma or beef shawarma you can’t go wrong with either.

This was an unexpected treat. A friend of mine had told me about this place for lunch and I wasn't really sure if they were telling me the truth. However, I thought I should give it a try. They're specialty is Mediterranean food and it is very good. Portions are definitely enough to share or to make sure you're full all day. They were very nice at the counter they explained their menu and I was able to make my choice. The catch here, is that it is in the Royal Oak Farmers market in a corner, and during the week it doesn't even look like it's open. There are a few tables to eat there in a garage like atmosphere I chose to take mine to go. If you need to go someplace and get a quick lunch and not have any lines, before everyone discovers this give it a try.

We found KAL's Lunch Bowl inside the Royal Oak Farmers Market building. They had a lot of parking that was very busy. But we managed to find a spot, as many people are in and out. We arrived to a window in the far, back right of the building. There are a few tables right in front of the windows. It's sort of off to side from bustle of the farmer's market, which is nice. I ordered a large tray of food to take home as well as many sandwiches. The food was made-to-order. We walked around and greeted vendors while we waited. The tray was very hot and they offered to walk it to my car with me since I had my children with me! It was so nice! Thankfully, I moved over my diaper bag and put it in the stroller. We served it to our family when we got home and everything was delicious! The chicken shawarma is perfectly seasoned and paired well with the ingredients. The rice was tasty and fluffy, great with the mixed meats. The salads were fresh and had yummy ranch dressing. It's our new favorite middle eastern food restaurant! The food is made well, paired well, and fresh. If you haven't been here, I definitely recommend you try it out. I guarantee you'll go back!

Everything is so good and so fresh!! I love how much you can customize the bowls. The salads have the perfect salad to veggie ratio. The soups are delicious. My favorite Mediterranean spot.

Best mediterranean around, especially their shawarma wraps (so good). They are super friendly aswell. It is a very personal experience. Very fairly priced (not expensive which is surprising considering the quality). They operate out of a hole in the wall inside the farmers market in Royal Oak, it is very charming, kind of like A and W but much classier and very charming.

Very good place to get a quick bite to eat at, it’s located inside the farmers market. The owner was super cool and made sure everything was good. All the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again for a good, quick and healthy eat. The shawarma themselves aren’t prepared on a rotisserie style, however they are still really good.
