However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. “This is a terrific little ice cream stand on the fringe of downtown Auburn Hills. They have a vast array of flavors, more so than most IC spots that are primarily soft serve places. We tried the Banana and we added chocolate chips for good measure. It was great. Of course, their classic varieties are also good. Our grandsons tried the chocolate and vanilla (with sprinkles, naturally), respectively, and were quite happy with their choices.

The service was friendly and efficient and their prices were very fair. They have some picnic tables on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It was an enjoyable experience and we'll look forward to our next chance to pay a visit.“

They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. Overall a nice bakery. It's appears to provide different selections from its original Korean eateries. I'm just happy its within walking distance of my house. While the choices are good, I don't find it exceptional compared to others. IMHO, their niche is light and air cakes inspired through French and Korean taste. Other baked good tend to be rather light too. The prices seem to be on the higher end IMHO.“

“I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“
