My daughter and I stopped in for lunch noticing they were open.
We are so glad we did.
They have very nice smoothies. You can tell they are made with fruit and sweetened with honey. No powdered protein stuff. Basic food ingredients. And you can taste it. They also have milk alternatives, which was great for us lactose peps.

Called in here this morning for a double espresso and really impressed with the quality of the coffee.
Many people these days drink coffee with that much milk and syrup, that you can barely taste the coffee. This is fine, but it means a lot of coffee shops don't even serve nice coffee and can get away with it.
The mark of a good coffee shop is one that can serve an espresso, with nothing added, and can nail it, without it tasting bitter and burnt.

Clawson Cafe is a new cafe in Clawson. The cafe has a chill, relaxed vibe and is beautifully decorated. The environment is cozy, with calming music and ambiance, and the seating area is a good place for a casual work meeting or coffee date. The staff is very kind and patient. The service is very good, though a little slow but expected. The cafe offers very nice smoothies made with fruit and sweetened with honey, with no powdered protein stuff, and milk alternatives are available. The coffee is impressive, and the espresso is one of the best, without tasting bitter and burnt. The cold brew is strong and very good, and the half caff Americano with a splash of oat milk has a delicious, smooth espresso flavor. The avocado toast is very generously topped with nice fresh avocado, feta, cilantro and olive oil, all well balanced and delicious. A 20oz drip coffee is also excellent. Some food and treats look great. The cafe is a little small and should have hot chocolate, and it should stay open later. It is already a staple in the community.
