Called in here this morning for a double espresso and really impressed with the quality of the coffee.
Many people these days drink coffee with that much milk and syrup, that you can barely taste the coffee. This is fine, but it means a lot of coffee shops don't even serve nice coffee and can get away with it.

I'm trying metro Detroit cafes in search of the best Americanos. Clawson Cafe offers a delightful coffee experience. I ordered a half caff Americano with a splash of oat milk. The drink was delicious, smooth espresso flavor made a very enjoyable sip. Service was very good and the cafe itself has a great atmosphere with calming music and ambiance. They offer some food and treats too that look great.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch noticing they were open.
We are so glad we did.
They have very nice smoothies. You can tell they are made with fruit and sweetened with honey. No powdered protein stuff. Basic food ingredients. And you can taste it. They also have milk alternatives, which was great for us lactose peps.
We also got coffee and avocado toast....
