“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“I had such a great experience at Candado Tacos in Royal Oak! The food was amazing, but what really made our visit stand out was our server, Natalia. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down.

Acai bowls are known to be a little expensive, but this one wasn't too bad. Not only that, but this was probably the best and freshest Acai Bowls that I've ever ordered from anywhere. “Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

What made the experience even better was that the worker suggested the substitution in a non-pushy, helpful manner which aided the problem-solving portion of my ordering. However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Checked out Eastern Market Brewing Company tonight, and I get why people talk about this place. It’s right in the heart of Eastern Market and has a great lineup of beers — enough options for everyone, whether you’re into IPAs or just want something easy to drink .

I grabbed a flight so I could pretend I’m a beer expert. I’m not, but the dark beer was smoother than I expected and the lager was the kind of crisp you want after a long week. The space itself feels laid back — good seating, and you can still catch whatever game is on without feeling like you’re in a packed sports bar.

Service was friendly, crowd was chill, and it’s the kind of spot where you could make this your go-to without even trying. Detroit beer, no pressure, good energy.

I’ll definitely be back — and I’m officially adding breweries to the list of places I “review” now.“

“Absolutely stellar in almost every way. Two things to tweak: today it's maybe 60 degrees, and they just turned the AC on, so it's pretty chilly in here. They also need to modify their playlist; most people are here to work or study, and the music can be a little energetic, heavy bass, loud vocals for that purpose. I have earplugs in and still find it pretty distracting.“
