“Stopped by Ashby’s twice during my family’s short stay in Michigan!The first time my husband and I got their strawberry cheesecake ice cream in a cup. Very creamy and delicious! One scoop was enough for us both.The second time my husband and I got their Reese’s parfait which was highly recommended by my brother in laws cousin. It was his go-to at Ashby’s so we told him we wanted to try it as well. Let me say, it has ALOT of peanut butter. We were tasting it for days after! Honestly it was very good but just had a bit much peanut butter, I’d probably order the parfait with maybe some hot fudge swirled in next time to offset the strong peanut flavor.Service is pretty good! The first time we visited it was only us there so the wait wasn’t too long. But the second time was on the weekend and at night so everyone and their mama was there! The line was quite long and the wait was even longer. I could tell other customers were getting frustrated. But we didn’t mind it. We just sat down at the tables they had inside and waited for our order to be ready. Just know there could be a long wait if you go on peak times and days!Other than that I definitely recommend Ashby’s for some delicious ice cream!“

“So Sweet! What a great little treat. While driving around town, I decided to stop and grab a TCBY ice cream. Seeing as TCBY is very rare to find this day and age, I had to try it out for myself and see if the ice cream still lived up to my childhood memories. I ordered a cup of Vanilla ice cream with extra Sprinkles. After tasting the first bite, I was ecstatic! The ice cream was just how I remembered it when I was a kid. While a lot of businesses mix and match their flavors and ingredients, I could still taste the original, rich and smooth flavor that TCBY ice cream is known for. While having to wait just a few minutes in line, the staff quickly greeted me and offered to make me an ice cream. The interior is nice and clean and the staff was pleasant. Overall, I will definitely be back when I'm on this side of town.“

“I enjoyed having a space to stop and get a healthy, fresh meal while I was downtown. I liked that there were counters and stools along the wall so I could sit and eat before driving back home. The service was fine; it definitely had a fast food feel to it.“

“Everything was delicious! We tried 5 different types of savory empanadas (beef Mendoza, beef salta, chorizo, chicken, and spinach), two of the sweet, three of the sauces, the chipas, and an alfajor. It's hard to say which was the best. I have to be disappointed by anything. They even sell them frozen to-go!I normally don't like olives, but I enjoyed the empanadas with them as much as the ones without.“

“Our favorite date night! always something delicious to try, it just always gets better! #1 for me is the Gyro just tried the steak pita tonight. So Juicy and the portions are always so filling. If you are looking for the real deal, Nooch is the place to be! We will always make the hour drive for some delicious food , with no animals harmed!“

“My husband and I tried Papelon Arepa for the first time today and it's going to be hard to stop ourselves from eating here multiple times a week. The gentleman assisting us was so kind and throughly explained the menu options to us, and made great recommendations. The food, omg, the food is out of this world delicious. Everything we tried was superb. This is my new favorite spot in all of Macomb County. Go give them a try, you will not regret it!“

“Drinking a cold beer, basking in the sun, and enjoying the breeze from the Collect rooftop on a warm day is the mental and physical state I'd like to be in at all times.This spot had been on my list for a while, and since I was on the hunt for the perfect Detroit rooftop and patio, I decided to veer off the Dequindre Cut while rollerblading for a brief bumpy sidewalk journey to Collect. Definitely worth it. The bartender was absurdly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and my happy brain chemicals were on full blast!PRO TIP: they have a semi-sneaky backdoor as well, and if you follow their Instagram, you'll find special events like food, music, or vendor pop-ups sometimes!“

“Great beer selection. I tried two of their house made beers and they were fantastic! They also have a very large refrigerator case with beers from around the world that you can drink there or take home. It's a German style beer hall seating and a couple of TVs and a bar. The staff was great. They recently brought in Deutschtoit to provide German food and it is very authentic. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.“

“Very good ice cream and polite service ? Drive through only.Parking: They have a drive through and a window that you walk up to for service. The parking lot is very small so most people go through the drive through or park on the side street or some people park in the school parking lot right next to it.“

“I love me some Country Dairy. Their ice cream is so creamy, delicious and airy?. Country Dairy is easy on your pockets, they give you plenty of ice cream and they are family friendly. I've tried other ice cream shops in St.clair shores and they were "just ok" . However, I need better than, just ok. Country Dairy does that for me.“

“The food was phenomenal! Everything from the goat cheese, salad to the burger was so fresh and well made. Our server Taya was really sweet and did a great job of explaining the menu and giving suggestions. Highly recommend for fresh and locally inspired food.“

“We stopped in on a whim today to pick up some BBQ. I didn’t know what I wanted nor what to order so I got ribs, pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, mac and cheese, and cornbread. It was phenomenal!! My family ate a ton and we still have a ton left. We will be back!!!“

“We’ve gotten Dooped Donuts twice downtown and once at the Ferndale Project and they are are always amazing! We decided to order two dozen for our baby shower and they did not disappoint. They were a huge hit and nobody could believe they’re vegan. They’re THE best! Our favorite is the cinnamon swirl!“

“A chill place or, a nice place to chill.A decent amount of parking, side and rear. Nice outdoor seating area is on the east side (Harper Rd side) so it's shaded in the evenings. Sweet.The folks inside are pleasant and quick to help or answer questions. Had a coaster & menu before I had all my riding gear off.Only 8 brews on tap (May '24) currently: a porter, stout, wheat, amber (sold out), pale ale, Belgian sour, two lagers & a "hoppy", probably an IPA. Three cider options, four wines and two NA craft soda (pop) round it out, save water.“

“We love this place in the summer when the patio area is open. Drinks are always hit or miss, but this time we came and they had the sippin Santa pop up menu which we've had elsewhere and the drinks were fantastic! Bartender told us a lot about the pop up and made great drinks. My husband ordered a whiskey ginger and he used a fresh ginger syrup which took the drink up a notch. Always will be back.“

“I love this coffee shop so much! It's so convenient I can walk to it and it's open late during the week for when I need to work on side projects after my 9-5. The vibe is very cool and the music is just the right volume. There's also options to sit up front by the windows if you want more light, or you can sit in the back for a more cozy feel. I love their coffee and rotating specials. The Columbia Espresso is my favorite and I usually get a bag for home too when I'm here. The Guatemala blend is also very good!“

“It was very friendly there. I was with Lonnie Glines Sr, he carved a fish and eagle this year for the chillyfest, he and I were there last year also for the event. I did not come across O'Flaherty's last year. Very enjoyable again this year. Hope to see ya again.“

“I have stopped into JSP many times and have always had a great experience! As a local, they are a go-to for delicious burgers and drink specials.They also have karaoke on Friday nights and fish fry specials including perch and coconut shrimp dinners. I recently ordered a coconut shrimp dinner for carryout and was super impressed! The service is always fast and friendly, even when the place is packed. They are also great for catering!“

“This is a beautiful coffee shop in St. Clair Shores. They have ample sitting with traditional tables and chairs, but also booths, counches, and louge chairs. They also have outdoor seating. For a Tuesday afternoon they seemed busy. You could see friends were gathered, people working on their laptops, and young families dining in. We liked the food, but for what you paid for what you got was below par for us. We had two sandwhiches, a soup, and a smoothie for $40 not including tip. We did carry out and still was very hungry afterwards. I also didn't like how they refused to turn one of the sandwiches into a salad. Most places do that, but not here. They do have Udis gluten free bread as an option, but I don't like that brand. FYI Canyon Bakehouse gluten free bread is way better. I was definitely left hunger, but my husband too. His sandwich was so small. We couldn't believe it. The service was okay, but they made us wait a lotng time. A women greated us after she rang up the women in front of us and then ignored us for about 20 minutes. She might of been putting orders together, but didn't say one word to us. Another woman came from the kitchen and walked passed us to not a word as we awkwardly waited. Finally a young guy from the kitchen came out to serve us and take our order. He was nice. But since we were the only people in line, I can't understand why it took so long.“

“It has been over 2 years since we have gone here for dinner. In the past I wasn't overwhelmed with their food, even though they're beer selection is top notch. Glad I let my wife make the call and we went here for dinner.We all ended up getting burgers, and my wife and I both commented that these were the best burgers we have had in a long, long time. Howlers and Growlers is now firmly back in my radar when we want to go out for burgers and a beer.“

“From the order speaker, to the window. The attendant there was amazing. She was very polite, and quick with her service. Will definitely be coming back just because of how nice the experience was. We got an everything bagel, that was hot and very good. Not sure if it’s a version of breakfast sauce on there, but genuinely one of the best drive thru breakfast sandwiches. Also grabbed a mocha blender and a blue raspberry energy something, everything was great. It’s rare to go somewhere where everything goes right. I wish I remembered the woman’s name to give her some credit.“

“Wanted to have a Windsor style pizza (we're from Detroit) before going to the Diana Ross concert. We were a little skeptical when we first arrived (5:00pm) and were the only patrons there. BUT the manager was very welcoming, our server was great and the pizzas were amazing. We ordered 2 Windsor's, 2 Margarites, 1 meat lovers and 1 garlic bread. 6 people devoured all of this ~ they were that good!The beer and wine selection was good too. I'd go back just for that darn delicious garlic bread!!!“
