“I’ve been going to Cannelle for the past five years, and they have never disappointed me. Their cakes are always beautifully designed, delicious, and a guaranteed hit whenever I bring one to a gathering.
Yesterday, there was a mix-up with my cake pickup, and I arrived at the Birmingham location shortly after closing to find the branch closed. What impressed me most was how the Cannelle team handled the situation. They diligently worked to locate the cake, opened the branch after hours, and personally delivered it to my event in West Bloomfield.
The cake arrived beautifully and was enjoyed by everyone. Mistakes can happen, but Cannelle truly went above and beyond to make things right. Their customer service was exceptional, and I’m very grateful for the care and effort they showed. I’ll happily continue recommending Cannelle to others.

The musicians, Mike ? and Greg Mathis (not the judge, but the horn player), did a wonderful oldies but goodies show that took their responsive audience back to our young selves — great job! It was great fun being with my neighbors - they were funny and added so much to the stories Mike and Greg told around the music. The breakfast was just as memorable. My turkey sausage egg sandwich was moist and delicious and the cinnamon roll was so fresh and light, it tasted like it was made an hour ago. I tried my first ever latte - creamy and good. Overall, this is a 5-star cafe with a warm, welcoming owner who creates a warm lovely Real Detroit experience!“

“If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Really solid coffee shop! I came here in search of a latte for the morning walk. First, the space itself is very nice and open. Lots of tables available with seating, and seating at the window to people watch or work on a laptop. They had a nice selection of beverages with a great selection of syrups such as lavender, pistachio, and vanilla. The barista was very nice in offering recommendations to me. Pastries looked visually great, and were a good size. They had coffee cake, scones, brownies, etc. The coffee I got was really good and hot! I ordered a chai tea latte and was not disappointed. Overall, a great stop.“

“Ive had some tacos before, but Never an Arepa. food is delicious. I got one Chicken Arepa, one bowl, and Definelty was worth popping in after seeing on Chow Down Detroit reviewed. They were out of beef, but definitely gonna pop on here and there. “This location is a block away from my parents house and my Dad goes in 6 times a day. When they found out my Mom had a heart attack on Thursday they sent her a bouquet of flowers. Also someone from there dropped off a bowl of chili and bun for my dad for dinner since my Mom couldn't make him dinner. This store went above and beyond. Awesome workers at this Tim Horton's.“

“Can’t believe it’s taken my husband and I this long to visit Cafe March 21. We visited the farmer’s market a couple weekends ago and have probably been back six times already 😂 The space has both indoor and outdoor seating and I actually love that there’s no wifi. It’s a great spot to meet up with others and chat without distraction.

The menu is outstanding. I love matcha and find a lot of local cafes offer really sugary, low quality matcha but every matcha I’ve had these past couple weeks have been splendid. The iced Ube matcha is my favourite right now but I also had their coconut cloud and strawberry. My husband is the coffee drinker and he’s had a few including the exotic - tangerine latte / which I even tried and enjoyed but his go to is the strawberry latte. I love the experimental flavours on the menu. We have only done quick pop ins with our baby but hopefully once he’s a bit older we can sit and try some of the food too! I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.“

“I was so pleased to find a local tea shop with a plethora of unique blends, but once I arrived at the store, I was truly charmed. Not only is there a vast selection of teas, sets, accessories and gifts, but the owner is so warm and welcoming. I came with an 8-year-old who talks, a LOT. She answered his numerous questions and encouraged him to explore different blends while also helping me find what I wanted, and the whole time she was graceful, accommodating, and genial. The tea is high quality, the blends are delicious, and I look forward to returning soon!“

“We used Papelon’s Food Truck for our Quinceanera Event with 70-80 guests. We avoided having to setup food in the venue. Even with so many hungry guest the food was made to order (Arepas, Cachapas and Tequenios) without a long wait. We had all the option of fillings on the menu!!! During peak the pagers were helpful so the guest could enjoy the party inside until the order was ready. It’s a plus if it gets a little chilly outside. At the end there was no leftover since our guest (mostly teenagers) could not stop eating. Non of the food went to waste which is amazing and showed everyone just loved the food! Service was impeccable by the friendly staff who stayed until no-one was hungry! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! P.s. Both were excellent, not too sweet, and the price was reasonable. The employee at the drive thru was also very nice, didn't rush us to order as it was our first time here.
