“Flyleaf Grosse Pointe is a haven for book lovers, gourmands, and those unique people who love the nostalgia of an old school Viennese coffee house. The selection of books is curated well and I'll defy you to leave without making a purchase. The decor feels like you've been transported back in time to old English library from an Agatha Christie novel, all we need to complete the vibe is Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. The quality of the food is superb, they don't skimp and you'll never be disappointed. The staff, are those unicorns who love books and love their jobs. A wonderful hidden gem.“

“There is so much to like about it this coffee shop. Coffee selection is excellent as they get their coffee from various but excellent coffee roasters! They offer those coffee for whole bean sale and as pour over options. They have a great selection of specialty drinks and pastries! They also boast numerous amounts of seating options. “If you complain about the drinks, try other ones. Their drinks are too good. I literally cannot choose which is my favorite out of five of them. Everyone is quiet, not obnoxious, and respectful. The service is great. They make sure to always greet you and say goodbye when you leave. They always inform you if your drink needs stirring. They always show gratitude towards tips, and this also helps the atmosphere feel cozy and warm. I love the music playing in the background and how sometimes they even take song requests. 10/10 for everything.“

I gave atmosphere only 3 stars because - and this is important to know if you’re planning to meet people and hang out somewhere - it’s Drive Thru only. That’s totally fine; just don’t plan on actually hanging out here.

“I read a negative review below about how Lucky's coffee isn't as good and to go to LeRouge and I think this person has it backwards. I love Lucky's coffee. It's creamy, nutty, and consistent.Jason, the barista, is far more than a slinger of caffeinated libations. He is a cultivator of community and camaraderie, always so pleasant to chat with. He always remembers me, the warmth of which you won't find at Red Hook Indian Village. It's everything you could want in a local coffee shop.However, my one suggestion for refinement (and why I took off one star) is the baked goods. The croissants, in particular, are devoid of the joie de vivre one expects from such a French patisserie classic. Their almond croissant’s frangipane doesn't possess that dense creaminess, and its dough is bereft of that crispy flakiness as you'll find elsewhere. A modest proposition: perhaps Lucky's could source their croissants from Golden Wheat in Warren (also a revered supplier to Atomic Coffee in Royal Oak).All in all, I would absolutely recommend Lucky's coffee--not just for their coffee but for the experience, steeped in authenticity and charm.Going on a walk or coming after a yoga class? Check it out! Or just go because you need your morning fix. It's one of my favorite coffee shops to go to and I don't need to drive all the way to Red Hook Indian Village anymore.“

It seems that she believes degrading and dehumanizing workers who perform a wide variety of tasks in an extremely fast-paced environment, and try their best to serve customers the best that they can, is somehow justified. Meanwhile I'm sure she (Randy) goes to a job where you move at a slow pace, probably chats it up with her co-workers, meandering around complaining about Tims workers, narcissistically waiting to be consoled for her bad experience. Then, with her "I'm better than you" attitude, browbeats the employees some more with her demeaning review comments. It's very sad that narcissists NEED and feed off of making others look small, as though it makes them look big. My message to Randy Guenette is that she needs to figure it out, try harder, and don't make excuses.“

“Came here with my husband and 4 year old. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Decently-sized, manageable menu, unique variety of smoothies and Italian sodas and coffee. Food came quickly and was delicious (bacon egg and cheese panini, crustless broccoli and cheese quiche, blueberry muffin and Monte Cristo). I came back twice in one day. Considered a third but exercised some self-control. But I will definitely be back.“

“Visited the new Starbucks on Gratiot Avenue in Clinton Township, Michigan. The cleanliness and spacious layout caught my attention, though it felt a bit isolated compared to typical Starbucks vibes. Despite that, the design was pleasing and the staff were exceptionally friendly. They seemed well-stocked, although the oddly shaped 'eggs' in the cooler raised some eyebrows. Overall, a nice spot to visit, but maybe skip the eggs!“

Feels like walking into a family establishment. My coffee was excellent and I really enjoyed the synergy. I had to visit this location for a remake from the location on Radnor who unfortunately cant seem to get right. Kudos to this location and its team!“

My coffee was a triple triple it was made perfectly .They also served my sandwich and hash brown in a bag instead of giving it to me individually in my hand like the other Tim Hortons do.
