“Was traveling for a conference and someone recommended this place and I’m so glad I stopped in. Short walk from many nearby hotels. The food is absolutely beautiful and there were pastries and desserts I’d never seen or heard of and I’ve been to a TON of French bakeries. This place takes it to the next level. I even had to make another transaction after I tried a piece of the mozzarella and Zatar bread loaf because it was that good. I’m not usually that into bakery style breads but this was insanely soft and the flavor was like nothing I’ve tasted before. Wish we lived closer because we’d be back everyday!“

“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“I had my first visit on a Saturday and the Cafe featured live music! I stayed way past the last note. The musicians, Mike ? and Greg Mathis (not the judge, but the horn player), did a wonderful oldies but goodies show that took their responsive audience back to our young selves — great job! It was great fun being with my neighbors - they were funny and added so much to the stories Mike and Greg told around the music. The breakfast was just as memorable. My turkey sausage egg sandwich was moist and delicious and the cinnamon roll was so fresh and light, it tasted like it was made an hour ago. I tried my first ever latte - creamy and good. Overall, this is a 5-star cafe with a warm, welcoming owner who creates a warm lovely Real Detroit experience!“

“This location is out of my way but I come here because the staff is so friendly and it's never a long wait. I've come here at different times throughout the day and all fast and friendly service.“

“I've been a few times and it's such a nice cozy space with the seating areas and bookshelves lining the walls. I noticed they had a patio area setup in the back too once the weather got nice. Recently, on 2 separate occasions, I tired their matcha mint lemonade, salted burnt honey latte, and I got a breakfast sandwich too. I really loved the lemonade and would get that again, but that latte I would drink every day if I could I was so sad when it was done lol.“

“Went to this Tim Hortons before a show and Jamie was amazing. She was very quick, polite, welcoming. I returned after the show for a coffee and donut and the manager Crystal made sure everything was taken care of in a very quick and efficient manner. When my specific donut was not available and I was disappointed crystal apologized and offered to go make me one in the back. This is by far my favourite Tim Hortons even though I don’t go there often.

The quality of the food was fantastic, and every dish was delicious; people are still complimenting it to this day! The servers were super attentive and great to all guests. We really appreciated the all-in-one service of setting up at our venue, catering the food and providing servers.

“Wonderful coffee shop to gather, work, or study. Plenty of space inside and parking outside. Yummy salads, sandwiches, and quesadillas. Very reasonable prices. Tons of personality. Check it out!“

“If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“I ordered a London fog and had it with a dark chocolate cookie. The tea was very flavourful, I had it with oat milk, and the cookie was soft and not too sweet. I THEN had a miso caramel latte and a yakgwa (traditional Korean honey cookie). The latte came with vegan tofu black sesame marshmallows and they were soooo good and cute. Love how they try to make interesting flavour combinations, it went very well together. Servers were friendly and informed, very well oiled machine of a team. Thank you“

“Today is the first time I'm visit this shop. Nice little shop but the space is pretty small. Came here for the dessert and was not disappointed. The lady at the register was very sweet, answered questions and took care of our order within a solid amount of time.“

“I love the vibe of this place-it really does feel like an independent coffee house. They have a lot of fair trade coffee & even have skim milk, which is hard to find! The staff were super friendly (vs another place I went to first & no one greeted me or came to help me at all). AND they have toasted bagels with cream cheese!“

They were out of beef, but definitely gonna pop on here and there. “I want to give props to Melnyk. I was off work for 3 months and came in yesterday and he remembered my order. I only ordered this particular drink 5-6 times but I really love how great it tastes. He is really friendly and patient. I hope whoever reads this gives him what he deserves. He is a great employee. Now the flavors could be better or more inventive. Verve is the coffee they use but I love my coffee with different flavors, lavender, blackberry, blueberry prickly pear, etc. They need to come up with better flavors. The atmosphere there is nice a quiet. I have never sat in there, just walked around.“
