“Can you really say anything negative about Starbucks? Well I’m sure there are always some negative things about any place but I’m here regularly in the 6 o clock hour and I’ve never had any issues of any kind! The staff are friendly and of course the coffee is amazing! My husband is NOT a coffee lover at all but they take the time to offer recommendations for him each time we come and always ask if he liked the previous drink they made for him! You know that is huge because you know how busy Starbucks can be!“
“Sam is an absolute sweetheart and he is the glue that holds that place together. I’ll drive out of my way just to see him on some mornings.I’m wondering though… why has the place been closed the last couple of mornings I tried to go there? My assumption is that there is a staffing shortage, which is unfortunate because I imagine that the current employees are being stretched thin as a result. I hope this is resolved soon, as I truly do love this store and I don’t want to be forced into finding a new one that is guaranteed to be open during advertised hours.TLDR - Give Sam a raise. He’s a gem. But treat your team better by ensuring there’s enough staff to cover the morning rush.“

“Went to the 13 and Gratiot Tim's to have coffee with a friend. It was a very rainy morning.Talking with my friend at a table and in walks a young African American man with 2 Pitbull dogs. Not one employee says anything to him about his dogs being in the restaurant even though you can see it making the other customers uncomfortable. These were not service or support dogs that he had with him. Guess at this Tim's you can do whatever you damn well please.“
“I come here almost daily for my drink. I always go through the drive thru. The 2 ladies working the drive thru Dorothy is at the first window and Michelle is at the second window. Both these ladies and very friendly, nice and prompt always with a smile on their face an always giving excellent service. Thank you ladies for the wonderful job your doing.“
“To review the food here is kind of redundant as it is McDonald’s after all, & they wouldn’t be in business if the food wasn’t good.However, I will review the service. I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s location for well over 30 years. The manager Jeff has been the manager since 2008, and his team seems to be the same team for as long as I can remember. The one thing I look forward to at McDonald’s now is plain and simple Jeff and his team. They exhibit such a rare quality of pride in their jobs, & find it these days anywhere is a struggle, yet you find it here at the McDonald’s on Gratiot and Martin. Usually when placing my order, I call it in ahead of schedule because it’s usually a large order. Whether it’s Jeff , picking up the phone and saying good morning, or one of his team members, they are all pleasant and happy to take care of you.I wish I could say that about the ambience, that doesn’t exist anymore at a McDonald’s & who’s ever made this decision to allow McDonald’s to look like this has taken them down a very dark path, I think it’s going to affect their sales greatly.I don’t want to clutter this review, because I really wrote it about how great the services here, despite McDonald’s corporate doing their best to ruin an icon. I feel bad for the new owners, however because they’re forced to make the changes or you do not keep your franchise.Between the automation at the drive-through with the canned voice that spew out McDonald’s agenda not allowing the customer to speak. And the sign pollution you almost get dizzy at McDonald’s nowadays. The only reason I go to McDonald’s is because of JEFF and his team. I hope JEFF and his team see this and know they are appreciated.Parking: The building, parking, and landscaping are on a level you just do not see. It’s perfectly maintained.“

“Omg whoever made my Big Mac just deserves a freaking raise and deserves to own every McDonald’s franchise OH MY GOD!! “The girls here are so sweet.. every time I visit this location they are super friendly ! I wanted a caramel brûlée latte and they were out so one of the girls attempted to make me a similar drink and it was honestly better than the original. So far this has been my favorite location . Keep up the great work ?“
