I typically visit Texas Roadhouse Roseville once every 2-3 weeks, and I exclusively sit at the bar, whether I'm by myself, with my wife, or with friends. The reason is simple: the bar service is outstanding, and their hospitality is simply unmatched. I'd particularly like to recognize two amazing bartenders, Jackie and Nellie. While all the bar staff I've encountered have been excellent, these two are incredible to watch together. Their teamwork and connection while managing both a packed bar and an intense service station is remarkable. They handle everything while maintaining genuine smiles, offering warm greetings, and delivering fantastic service. The bar atmosphere feels just like your favorite local watering hole, where they don't just remember your name, but know exactly what you like to drink. Often, my favorite cocktail is being prepared before I've even taken my seat - that's what I call exceptional service! I witness this same attention to detail with other customers too, as they too are greeted by name. Considering I'm only there every 2-3 weeks, their ability to remember customers' names and drinks sets this restaurant well above any other chain I've visited. This personal touch is typically only found in beloved neighborhood bars. In the 10 months I've been coming here, I've never had a disappointing meal. I've explored various menu options beyond their excellent steaks, and everything arrives with perfect timing, allowing enough time to enjoy appetizers or salad/chili before the main course. If you need anything extra (condiments, cheese, etc.), the attentive bartending staff responds quickly, even heading to the kitchen themselves if necessary. This recognition of the outstanding bar staff is long overdue. After experiencing their wonderful service again this past weekend, I felt compelled to take some time to write. Thank you for consistently providing a dining experience that keeps me coming back!”

“Order from Fannie now! I was visiting Detroit over the holidays and needed a highly custom vegan cake for a family celebration. It was totally last minute, and I had little hope of finding a bakery that could accommodate the order on short notice and with its specificity. Fannie was happy to help! She baked us a beautiful and positively delicious vegan carrot cake with buttercream frosting. My father is 78 and has enjoyed vegan desserts for many, many years. He called it one of the best that he has eaten! It would be one thing if the product alone was amazing. It’s extra special that Fannie is such a warm, kind soul on top. Couldn’t be happier I chose Have Another Slice Bakery to help make these tasty family memories happen!”

“I rolled in to Dearborn Sausage Saturday 11/09/24 in the early afternoon to grab two subs and some bacon to take home. I need to brag about the great service I got. The minute I walked in the door, a friendly employee saw there were no handbaskets and ran to get me one without me asking him. I walked over to the sub station to order, and the young lady who made my order was friendly, quick, and man, did she ever make me a killer BLT sub! Best one I have had! And my dressings were on the side as requested. I then moved over to the meat counter to pick up some ham slices and ham shanks for soup. Whoever the young man was assisting me - pay him whatever you need to to keep him! I was eyeing the shanks that wouldn't be as good for soup as some other others; he pointed this out to me and explained why. Then he went on to choose 3 meaty, super nice shanks for my soup, along with the some slices I needed for another recipe. Friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, just a stellar employee. Even when I went to pay, the cashier was friendly and chatty. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had at Dearborn Sausage. I didn't catch any of these four employee's names, but I was in there around 2pm if that helps. In these times when nobody seems to want to work, these four were absolutely outstanding. Bravo!”

The only complaint I have which is minor, we like the cafeteria but they rarely have the yogurt machine working. They always say they don't have time to fix it.”

“I've always used the app to place my orders (sub club). For the most part the subs are accurate as far as ingredients. It's hit and miss how well they're put together depending on who's working... sometimes they're sloppily put together. There's a guy that works there who always nails it! But don't believe anyone there reads the comments (can add in the app). I always ask for my footlong NOT to be cut in half but they always do anyway, I think out of habit. I prefer to cut it in thirds when I get home. Aside from that, there are booths to sit and eat and kept clean. It's a small restaurant and there are no public restrooms.”

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!”

“So i actually go out of my way to this starbucks because I'm totally obsessed with the Iced cherry chai. As soon as I say my order, they already know it's me lol. And I get extra EVERYTHING! They make my drinks perfect 99.999% of the time. I've only had 1 time it didn't have what I asked for. So I drove back around, told them and they made 2 new ones! Plus, i have a special needs child, and 1 of the girls gave him a lollipop cake bite! I mean come on how above & beyond service is that!? This is THE best starbucks hands down! Highly recommend them. And you should try the venti Iced cherry chai w/ extra cherry foam, extra cherry cruch topping & 1 scoop of the sweet cherry powder in with the tea! Omg if you love cherry, trust me, you'll become obsessed just like me😂. I also get the iced lavender chai w/ extra lavender foam & 1 scoop of lavender powder in the tea! They recently ran out of my cherry powder & i had to go to a different starbucks. It was no where near as good!😂. I promise you'll love this one! 5 stars all around ✨️”

“The issues put forth by another patron is valid and the remodel is long over due because it makes the wait staff job harder when mold is visible on vents , seating is damaged and ceiling tiles greatly discolored because possible bacteria and water damage: my waitress was awesome despite these conditions. Christina was engaging and affable. The manager did visit my table upon request and addressed previous and current health and comfort issues to be corrected by coming soon renovations🕜🧐”

“I’ve been coming to this location more often lately since I live nearby, and after my experience tonight, I felt compelled to leave a review because the difference in service compared to my visit a few days ago was very noticeable.

Tonight’s experience was great! There were three ladies working, and only one person was ahead of me in line. I was greeted within about a minute, and while my order was being prepared, I noticed great communication and teamwork between all three employees. Overall, it was a much more welcoming and positive experience.

Unfortunately, my experience during lunch a few days ago was very different. When I walked in, no one greeted me with a “Hi, welcome to Qdoba” or even acknowledged me with a “We’ll be with you in a moment.” The employee at the front was finishing up another customer’s order, which I completely understand, but there was a lady wearing headphones and another employee who came out from the back, and neither acknowledged me while I was waiting.

I feel like some of the staff could benefit from a little additional training on customer service and the importance of acknowledging customers, even when they’re busy prepping items. Something as simple as saying hello or letting someone know they’ll be helped shortly can make a big difference.

The service I received tonight was a much better experience and honestly made me want to come back, whereas my previous visit left me hesitant. I will say that the food has consistently been fresh and delicious, which is definitely a positive!
