“The food is super over priced. The only item we purchase is ice cream. However, I did purchase a membership so we visited this location once or twice a week. My child loved it. It's clean, the teenage staff is usually professional, most of the machines work. And there is a Burlington Coat factory a few doors down, which I love.”

“There was a 45 minute wait when we got there, but it was worth it. Beatrice was a wonderful server. She greeted us immediately despite being slammed & took our drink order. She was patient though we weren’t ready to order right away. She returned with our drinks and took our order. Our food was on the table within 15 minutes of ordering which was also impressive considering the full tables and line at the door, in addition to take out orders being picked up constantly.

Beatrice was not only attentive but an absolute asset to your establishment. She checked back several times, kept our drinks refilled, and pre-bussed as we finished our food. The atmosphere was amazing. The music wasn’t too loud and they played a wonderful blend of R&B and Motown hits. We decided this is our new spot over Texas Roadhouse due to the atmosphere and hardworking staff. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening.”

And the buffalo sauce tasted great!! My fiance got a cheeseburger and he loved it! Definitely tasted super fresh, not frozen. We got mozzarella sticks and you got 6 with the order. And a “small” order of sweet potato waffle fries which was big enough for us to share. We definitely will stop again on our way up north!”

“We had the best experience tonight at this location! We ordered online and got a text our order was ready right on time. We picked it up and our food was hot and fresh. “Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!”

“I was served a Heineken that had a broken top on it two times. I noticed the first time and told the redhead. She served me another one and put the broken glass beer bottle on the counter instead of dumping it. A blonde dreadhead served me the same warm broken bottle later on when I didn't even ask for another beer. I took a sip of it without noticing it was the same bottle from earlier and it cut my lip. When I brought this up to the redhead , she started yelling at me and telling me to not talk to her sideways. She then charged at me to attack me. Multiple patrons had to hold her back multiple times. I am owed an apology and the owner should find better help on Sundays.”

“This place is an oasis in the sea of fast food trash. I used to come here with friends when we cruised Gratiot in the 70's and 80's and the place is more than clean. It's well lit, the food is excellent and the staff is attentive and friendly. Time might pass but good memories are forever and this place has lots.”

“I’ve been coming to this location since I was 9. Now at 60 years old My favorite is still their original square pizza & Italian subs. I’ve tried almost every pizza chain & to me this place is hands down. You want good pizza & subs then come here. They have all your party favorites. I’ve met the owners & they are very nice. Customer friendly too. Come support them you’ll be glad you did. I drive from 10 & Hayes so I can have the best. I lived in Roseville 21 years..You guys please don’t change what you do. Keep the recipes the same.”

“This delightful bakery was recommended to me by a longtime friend, & I am so glad I took her suggestion. I'm a Michigander, but I briefly lived in Tennessee, & during that time, I became a fan of buttermilk pies, which are quite popular down there. They are almost impossible to find up here in MI, but Five Star Cake Co. makes them, & makes them GREAT! Five Star Cake Co. has THE BEST pies and baked goods around! If you're like me, & you try to support local businesses, if you live on the east side (Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Harper Woods, Roseville areas), & you love baked goods & sweet treats that are made with care and quality, this is the place for you!

“Delicious is all I can use to describe it. The ribs were literally falling off the bone tender and yummy great sauce to meat ratio. The brisket was tender as well very good with the garlic bread. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and the collard greens were the same. Well worth what I paid for it all I'll definitely be back. Bought myself birthday dinner and glad I did.”
