“Went to the 13 and Gratiot Tim's to have coffee with a friend. It was a very rainy morning.Talking with my friend at a table and in walks a young African American man with 2 Pitbull dogs. Not one employee says anything to him about his dogs being in the restaurant even though you can see it making the other customers uncomfortable. These were not service or support dogs that he had with him. Guess at this Tim's you can do whatever you damn well please.“
“It was on a Tuesday, we went in thinking it was just a day, you know? It was in the morning, we were greeted with a church- like stillness.. reverent?I was the first one to hoot into the quiet. Kind echoed.Soon we're all hooting like some kinda crazy birds and one of us started to harmonize and the next thing you know we hit this C and it's just the frequency, you know? The tables and shelves start resonating and feeding back, pretty soon the doughnuts themselves are singing, the employees are peering over counters, and of course, Petey forgets himself and floats off the ground a little..It was on a Tuesday. Snatched him back down, looked around apologetically, and scooted.Always on a Tuesday.“
“Always fast and efficient. My coffee always served with a smile and tastes the same every time. Sout out to Gratiot, Roseville! Excellent service always, diverse and its cool to allow personal expression of each server, i.e., piercings, tattoo's, hair color....since I personally have them too. REALLY COOL! 2nd Shout to Gratiot, French rd. Detroit! Exact blueprint! Feels like having coffee with your Aunt!“
