“Food is great here and what kind of restaurant can you go to and get great chicken and sides plus a couple beers for cheap? The answer is nowhere and restaurants overcharge way too much for food and drinks. The only place I’ll go to now for fried chicken because no one else even compares.“

“Each of my visits, I have received magnificant service. The food is always fresh, hot, and abundant. The customer service has been professional, and attitude free. The pop is properly carbinated and the eatery is clean. I do not hear a bunch of cursing or rudeness from the employees even when the customers deserve it. “VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Great food, great people, and great service. However, this place is PACKED. It seems like everyone goes here, and the line can get so long that it spills into multiple parking lots. I would hate to try to visit another store in this area when the drive-thru is backed up.

That said, I really think there should be someone directing traffic, especially when the two drive-thru lanes merge. People simply don't know how to take turns when merging, and there doesn't seem to be any clear system or rules in place. Some people will cut in front of others, while others have no idea who is supposed to go next.

The food and service are great, but the drive-thru situation can be a complete mess. Having someone manage the traffic and help direct cars when the lines merge would make a huge difference.“

“This is my new favorite take out for fish & chicken. Their food is so fresh, fresher than other places I've tasted and it doesn't taste all greasy or hard. They don't take a long time to prepare your order either. Their prices are standard across the board for these types of restaurants but like I said their food is amazing especially when you don't feel like cooking. ☺️Bon appetit, Happy Shopping!“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“I really had the best sweet spaghetti here. But was extremely grossed out by an elderly man just living next to the register? Just a full hospital bed chilling right at the end of the pickup counter on the way to the restrooms.... For all to see. He was sitting up in his bath robe, eating a Peach Mango Pie, and attending a Zoom call on his laptop.... 👍“

“First time going to a chic-fil-a, the drive through was set up so faster order are not held up as much if they get stuck behind a bigger order, I liked that there was an actual person with a tablet that took my order and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. The food was fresh and to be honest I don't think I can say this is fast food, it's just good food. “You have to check your order before leaving. They get mixed up or something. Use drive thru. Inside takes forever. Only one cook. Ran out of fries. Had to wait until he finished cooking chicken so he could cook fries.
