“We just had the best service here! And great coffee, tea, and treats! We had went on a walk and decided to treat ourselves to a coffee. After our order was ready and we went pay we found that I lost my license and id along our walk. OYE! They were so kind and patient with us with our frantic responses. They had us take our order anyway and said that they 'trust us'. Luckily, we found my id and card and went back and paid. They were still super nice when I went back in. We will be back and tell everyone else they should go as well!! You just don't have that small town feel anywhere else around here.“

“Decided to try somewhere I haven’t been before for Sunday Brunch, and the group and I decided on Mae’s.This is a place where you order at the front, and then the food gets brought out to your table once ready. We told the lady at the front counter that it was our first time so she provided us paper menus to sit down and go over so we weren’t pressured to make a decision right away. The atmosphere is super cute and in the heart of downtown Mount Clemens.My friend and I decided on the Avocado Breakfast Sandwich but with sunny side up eggs instead of the friend eggs. My other friend kept it simple with the Mae’s Breakfast with over easy eggs and turkey sausage. Our Breakfast Sandwiches were absolutely huge and the yolk from the sunny side up egg really brought the sandwich together surprisingly without it being as messy as I anticipated. All of our meals came with Red Skin Potatoes which were cooked to absolute perfection making sure each piece was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The Turkey Sausage was really good as well. The Fried Cauliflower was a hit for the table, however some pieces were a bit too batter heavy for my liking.Overall it was a great experience, and it’s always fun supporting a local small business when given the opportunity.“

“This is a beautiful coffee shop in St. Clair Shores. They have ample sitting with traditional tables and chairs, but also booths, counches, and louge chairs. They also have outdoor seating. For a Tuesday afternoon they seemed busy. You could see friends were gathered, people working on their laptops, and young families dining in. We liked the food, but for what you paid for what you got was below par for us. We had two sandwhiches, a soup, and a smoothie for $40 not including tip. We did carry out and still was very hungry afterwards. I also didn't like how they refused to turn one of the sandwiches into a salad. Most places do that, but not here. They do have Udis gluten free bread as an option, but I don't like that brand. FYI Canyon Bakehouse gluten free bread is way better. I was definitely left hunger, but my husband too. His sandwich was so small. We couldn't believe it. The service was okay, but they made us wait a lotng time. A women greated us after she rang up the women in front of us and then ignored us for about 20 minutes. She might of been putting orders together, but didn't say one word to us. Another woman came from the kitchen and walked passed us to not a word as we awkwardly waited. Finally a young guy from the kitchen came out to serve us and take our order. He was nice. But since we were the only people in line, I can't understand why it took so long.“

I went in not knowing a thing and cashier was super kind and knowledgeable, and asked just the right questions to get me what I like. I ended up getting a couple of drinks which had to be the best drinks I’ve ever had. I also got the popcorn chicken. It was juicy, crunchy, and the chicken was melt in your mouth soft. “I can't remember how I heard about Sweetwater's Coffee, but when I saw they were across the street from one of my work campuses, I immediately stopped in and had to check them out. I've heard nothing but good things about them, and was eager to see if they lived up to all the hype. As a daily coffee drinker I've learned that everyone takes it a different way. I'm generally a light brew lady with cream and sugar myself. When I walked in the place was huge with tons of seating and very aesthetically pleasing. Plenty of room to move about and I loved it. They have a great menu and can make you a multitude of different drinks. I didn't feel like anything fancy, so I went with their light roast (breakfast blend?) to start my day off right. There was two girls (as there usually is) working behind the counter and they got to it right away. Within a few minutes my coffee was ready and I put in the sugar myself along with the cream. My only thing is, and again, this is my preference, I like flavored creamer. It's what I drink at home and like to have it out when possible. While their cream here is fresh, it's standard no flavor creamer. They have a ton of different sugar options which was nice to see. Overall, the coffee here is fabulous and I'd frequent here as much as possible if it was closer to me. Whoever invented and opened Sweetwaters did it right. This is how a coffee shop sould be!“
“I happened upon this place on accident but my experience was great i got a French vanilla latte that was really good but I think it was missing the hazelnut which makes it a French vanilla latte and the morning side frappe could have been blended smoother but the person I got it for enjoyed it. The bacon and cheese croissant was ok it had something spicy on it and I wish I would’ve known because I don’t eat spicy food however that could have been my fault for not asking but everything was great and the service was even better and the cafe is beautiful“

You get 10% off drinks for containers that you bring back. We enjoyed their jasmine tea, hk style milk tea, kuma milk tea, and the 24k golden tea. Drinks were not super sweet which is a major plus. They also have toppings that are for free. Fair pricing.“
“They have THE nicest customer service here. I needed a cake kind of last minute and they were so helpful and kind and provided a BEAUTIFUL and delicious cake for me. They also have a wonderful gluten free selection. We have some with gluten intolerances in the family, and they have a good amount of gluten free (GF) treats you normally don't see like GF cheesecake cups, GF cookies, GF "cosmic brownies". Their GF cakes are like no other. Usually they can be dry, but I could not tell the difference between that and a regular cake. Amazing! The pound cake was truthfully very bland, it was pretty dry and flavorless. The icing was even pretty hard to taste. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of greenery and unique nic-nacs. However, this cafe is advertised as a gallery as well. There were no paintings or photos or anything up which was disappointing. The service was great! The barista Kattia was super friendly and bubbly. She offered to warm up the pound cake, very sweet. Nice selection of soda, so nice going on that. The fries were my favorite, and had just the right amount of salt. The slaw might have been a bit too creamy, but still tasted decent.The cheeseburgers, though, weren't really up to snuff. The buns were either warmed up too much to the point they were dry, or they were stale. The cheese and onion ratio were excellent, but the burger itself was also dry. I'd be tempted to try a 1/3 pound burger sometime and see how that is, but I would go back for the sliders.Interesting place, and I hope they get a chance to really perfect their food.“

The coffee was great and cheap in terms of competitors in the area - less than $5 for a large latte. We got the white chocolate raspberry latte and it was very sweet, but the coffee flavor was still present. If we went back, we'd probably ask for a little less sweetness, but I don't think that would be a problem. The guy working was friendly. Only complaint would be the ambiance. A little weird on the inside and rundown, but the coffee was worth it. We'll be back!“

The line was long but after waiting a while I noticed there was only ONE worker, Kristy, she was very patient and kept a smile on her face while waiting on the growing line ahead of her.
