Fast. I purchased a Philips 4400 coffee machine from Best Buy, and it had a leak the first time we used it. I could have just returned it but I figured it might just end up in a landfill, so instead I contacted Philips for warranty service, the rep walked me through the whole process, even used a video chat so I could show exactly what was leaking.
