About Mains Treat Coffeehouse Utica
Recent Reviews
We stoped by the Utica location twice and had mixed feelings about it. The location and ambiance is very cute and cozy. Our first trip we tried the breakfast wraps with turkey sausage which was not our favorite. Next visit we had the bagel sandwiches which were delicious. We tried 4 different lattes on the 2 visits and all tasted off. My husband and I agreed that the coffee/espresso beans they use tasted burnt. If we stop by again, we would probably just try a tea or drip coffee.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a delicious gingerbread latte. Highly recommend!
We were treated so nicely by the owner! She brought our flight my husband I and shared right over to us when it was ready. She even brought us some ice water a few minutes later without us even asking. Little did she know my father had just passed a few days prior and my husband and I needed a little break from the kids and every day life to just sit and be together. Her service was amazing and the way we were treated that day - she has customers for life. Thank you!

Mains Treat Coffeehouse is a hidden gem and adorable spot in downtown Utica, designed for chilling out, lingering with a book, or catching up with friends. The atmosphere is comfy, cozy, spacious, and beautiful. The coffee is fantastic and great, with a good cappuccino, cortado, and espresso, plus a large selection of syrups. The Chai tea latte is noted as the best one around. Food includes fresh sandwiches, though the Mangia sandwich is not recommended while The Harlow is done well. There is a good selection of gluten free items, dairy free beverages, and delicious desserts like the pecan bar, though some treats are noted as slightly expensive. The staff is wonderful and service is good, with plenty of seating available. Public parking lots are nearby. This is exactly what a coffeehouse should be and is highly recommended for a peaceful break.
