“Decided to try somewhere I haven’t been before for Sunday Brunch, and the group and I decided on Mae’s.This is a place where you order at the front, and then the food gets brought out to your table once ready. We told the lady at the front counter that it was our first time so she provided us paper menus to sit down and go over so we weren’t pressured to make a decision right away. The atmosphere is super cute and in the heart of downtown Mount Clemens.My friend and I decided on the Avocado Breakfast Sandwich but with sunny side up eggs instead of the friend eggs. My other friend kept it simple with the Mae’s Breakfast with over easy eggs and turkey sausage. Our Breakfast Sandwiches were absolutely huge and the yolk from the sunny side up egg really brought the sandwich together surprisingly without it being as messy as I anticipated. All of our meals came with Red Skin Potatoes which were cooked to absolute perfection making sure each piece was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The Turkey Sausage was really good as well. The Fried Cauliflower was a hit for the table, however some pieces were a bit too batter heavy for my liking.Overall it was a great experience, and it’s always fun supporting a local small business when given the opportunity.“

“On my last visit I ordered a sausage McMuffin, a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle, a bacon egg and cheese bagel with no sauce plus three drinks. What I ended up with the drinks bring correct, 1 sausage mcmuffin and two bacon egg and cheese bagels white the sauce. They had it right on the menu but delivered the wrong products.“
“Absolutely amazing! Got the Peanut Butter Mocha iced (which had real peanut butter in it) and the Mint Mocha iced. Also, got bacon egg and chedder bagel sandwich and sausage egg and chedder bagel. Got to choose which type of bagel plane, assigago and everything. I'm definitely going back!“
“We just had the best service here! And great coffee, tea, and treats! We had went on a walk and decided to treat ourselves to a coffee. After our order was ready and we went pay we found that I lost my license and id along our walk. OYE! They were so kind and patient with us with our frantic responses. They had us take our order anyway and said that they 'trust us'. Luckily, we found my id and card and went back and paid. They were still super nice when I went back in. We will be back and tell everyone else they should go as well!! You just don't have that small town feel anywhere else around here.“
“I Needed a midday pick me up while in the area and located this gem. I had a caramel macchiato which did the job. The coffee tasted fresh and of great quality. They have a variety of different coffees and choices, that I was initially overwhelmed. I will be back to try something new.“
“My husband and I tried Papelon Arepa for the first time today and it's going to be hard to stop ourselves from eating here multiple times a week. The gentleman assisting us was so kind and throughly explained the menu options to us, and made great recommendations. The food, omg, the food is out of this world delicious. “This is my absolute favorite coffee place in the gp/scs area! Their oat milk cereal milk latte is the perfect flavor combination, not too sweet. The food is incredible as well, the made-to-order French toast bites are the best way to treat yourself! They have a good customer loyalty program and are also a great spot for gifts- apparel, mugs, k-cup pods and fresh coffee will not fail to impress your family and friends. Check them out!“

“It's very easy to see why this little spot has so many 5 star reviews. It's a small shop you would easily overlook. It's in the same plaza as the Italian restaurant, Mangiabevi. Got to meet and chat with the owners husband and he was such an inviting man and I enjoyed talking to him. I got the iced caramel macchiato; it was fantastic. Had the perfect amount of sweet and it tasted extremely fresh. The amazing thing about this unassuming spot is that they are a roasterie as well. Amazing customer service, amazing coffee, lots of cool trinkets and specialty items. I cannot wait to be back.“
