“Went there for breakfast. Got an iced cap which was great. Donuts weren’t bad just weren’t fresh probably because we went in late morning. Had a breakfast sandwich on a bagel which was good. Tasted a little dry but did the job. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Service was very good.“

“Decided to try somewhere I haven’t been before for Sunday Brunch, and the group and I decided on Mae’s.This is a place where you order at the front, and then the food gets brought out to your table once ready. We told the lady at the front counter that it was our first time so she provided us paper menus to sit down and go over so we weren’t pressured to make a decision right away. The atmosphere is super cute and in the heart of downtown Mount Clemens.My friend and I decided on the Avocado Breakfast Sandwich but with sunny side up eggs instead of the friend eggs. My other friend kept it simple with the Mae’s Breakfast with over easy eggs and turkey sausage. Our Breakfast Sandwiches were absolutely huge and the yolk from the sunny side up egg really brought the sandwich together surprisingly without it being as messy as I anticipated. All of our meals came with Red Skin Potatoes which were cooked to absolute perfection making sure each piece was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The Turkey Sausage was really good as well. The Fried Cauliflower was a hit for the table, however some pieces were a bit too batter heavy for my liking.Overall it was a great experience, and it’s always fun supporting a local small business when given the opportunity.“
“This is the only Starbucks I go to where they always make the drinks correctly and they always engage in a full conversation with me while they make my coffee. I had an extra good time today where the batista said she'd remake my drink if I didn't find it sweet enough after I asked how sweet the drink was. She was very personable and I can tell this location trains their employees well!“

“Even with the short staffing the hustle is visible. Appreciate the people who are there and doing the best they can while extremely busy and not always enough staff. The GM Amy really cares about the guest experience and is really good about giving the front counter the same hustle and hospitality she gives the drive thru. She is always greeting the delivery drivers even if they are overloaded with front and drive thru customers. Even if their orders are not ready, she makes sure she takes the time to acknowledge them and let them know where they’re at with their orders. That might seem like something small, but that’s the kind of communication and hustle that shapes the atmosphere. Something is simple as acknowledging and saying hey, we’re looking at six more minutes, but we have it right now! .. that’s kind and considerate as opposed to a delivery person just straight being ignored until its ready with no update or greeting. It’s also rare to see a general manager lead by not just words, but also action. Even with the tight staffing, staff in the morning generally works so well together that it’s not often noticeable for customers. That’s no small feat and seeing how much they care makes me come back here!Dietary restrictions: You can get no bun with any burger and swap it for lettuce.“
