“This cafe is utterly amazing in every way. It hits all the right notes, with a laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger.
The atmosphere is chic, the food was spectacular, and the drinks were phenomenal – especially the pistachio latte with espresso. It’s creamy, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. The apple croissant is another must-try — flaky, lightly sweet, and made with care. But the real star for me is the chicken artichoke sandwich — savory, satisfying, and packed with flavor.
Everything paired beautifully, and despite long lines, service was impressively quick. With plenty of seating and easy street parking, this spot is absolutely worth a visit — we’ll definitely be back.“

“Every time I come to Detroit, I try a new coffee shop. This is a great place to get some work done or just hang out (both indoors and out). The matcha I had was great, just a hint of sweetness. Though I didn't get to try the food, I expect it to be good with just the quality of produce that was brought in this morning.“

“There is so much to like about it this coffee shop. Coffee selection is excellent as they get their coffee from various but excellent coffee roasters! They offer those coffee for whole bean sale and as pour over options. They have a great selection of specialty drinks and pastries! They also boast numerous amounts of seating options. Lastly they are in a really nice location as it is right off the greenway which leads to the river walk! We enjoyed our time here!“

“I ordered the Mulled Magic and it was delicious. They have a small menu with just a few seasonal drinks that are really unique, but this makes ordering so much easier and the drinks are great quality. It has a relaxed modern atmosphere and the service is fantastic.“

“I stopped in today on a whim. I was going to go to the big coffee chain up the road but opted against it. I'm glad I did! the baristas recommended a brown sugar latte with pistachio milk and that's what I got, iced. It was phenomenal. Great price point for the quality of the product. Crispelli's pastries. 5 stars, highly recommend and will be back again.“

“If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Wonderful Coffee! The hand made syrups were probably the best I ever had. I tried two lattes, one with vanilla lavender and the other with honey cinnamon and they were great! I recommend both of them with oatmilk. The owner was super friendly with my party and I and we had a very nice conversation with her while she made our lattes. Down Under is only FOUR minutes away from the TCF, walking. There is NO reason to ever get Starbucks again while I am in Detroit for Youmacon. A definite must for all the con goers to give them a try!“

“Atmosphere and cashiers are genuinely nice. I did a doordash order here yesterday and had the honor of rating a glazed donut. It disappeared when I got in the car so I give this place a 5 stars and will be revisiting. I have to. I wanna try the latte donut so bad“

“This place use to be on my dog walking route. I'd order a drink, snack and a cup of water for my dog.
The snack always tasted great. They have a little table outside where I sat and it was really nice of them to find a container my dog could drink from.“

“Great bakery! They have unique flavor combos on their food. I had a snickerdoodle cookie with fennel seed that was delicious! My cousin had the apple maple pie and she said it was yummy. They had a savory hand pie that day that my cousin bought as well. I've attended a hand pie cooking class there. Everything is hand made and unique.“

“This place is a solid A Tier coffee shop. The iced latte I had was great; and the Vanilla Bean Donut was absolutely fantastic. Would absolutely go back.
I gave atmosphere only 3 stars because - and this is important to know if you’re planning to meet people and hang out somewhere - it’s Drive Thru only. That’s totally fine; just don’t plan on actually hanging out here.
I’ll be going back for sure.“

“I went yesterday for a quick snack. Although they were out of a lot of bagel flavors, it gave me the chance to try something I wouldn’t have usually gotten so I got the Asiago bagel with the scallion cream cheese and babyyyyyy, it was SO GOOD! I got their plain cream cheese too in case I didn’t like the scallion one and even that one was good. It didn’t taste like your regular Philadelphia cream cheese. I will be back. Only thing I’d do differently is not get my bagel toasted, it made it kick of tough but other than that, 10/10“
“Loooved the Arab coffee!! And in such a cute little espresso cup.“

“We are frequent customers of Astoria in Greektown. This has always been a tradition for my children before events downtown. We have never had anything that wasn’t amazing. Our favorites are the baklava and the eclairs but we do our best to try something new on each visit. We love this establishment. It’s Detroit for us — in pastry form.“

“I really love this place. There's such a level of attention to detail that I don't find in many other coffee shops around the city. And although most will come for coffee or tea, you'll stay for the food. The breakfast sandwiches, the muffins, the cookies... again, they really concentrate on quality. They are also a mini-market with high quality basic goods (oil, butter, pasta, jars of sauces, condiments...).
The only caution is that there isn't a ton of seating. I usually don't have a problem getting a table when I want to have a meeting here, but there are only two tables (5 seats each) at the front. There's more outside seating during the warmer months.“

“My new favorite breakfast spot! The food is great. My go to is the Sunrise Symphony, maple oatmeal and Blueberry Pomegranate smoothie. The people there are awesome! I always get a warm greeting and feel welcomed every time I go. Love this place. ❤️“

“I was coming for coffee and then oops lol got ice cream instead. Now whenever I pass by here I pull up to get ice cream. Ice cream texture is not as soft as "normal" ice cream since its frozen with nitrogen. But otherwise it taste great and I recommend. Berry ice cream is ???“

“We had our sober social and karaoke night at The Congregation. They were amazing. They had everything we needed and helped to make sure we were all set for our event. The mocktails were a huge hit and the coffee is the greatest. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Hipster central at its finest. Is a Matcha latte seven dollars? Yes. Is it made by a highly emotionally intelligent human that wants to have a conversation with you and will explain the source of every ingredient and the nuances between macadamia nut milk and milk? Are the Vibes curated to top shelf level instead of the beeping and blaring of Starbucks also yes. If you’re in a rush not for you.“
“Genuinely the best coffee I’ve had in Detroit in a while. Super reasonably priced and the roast always seems so even, we bought a bag of whole beans to make espresso drinks at home and the quality and flavor really comes through. Cant wait to keep bringing folks here :)“

“Amazing family owned business. Food and counter service were amazing. Authentic Greek gyros are hard to find but this family brings a taste of Greece to Detroit! I recommend the traditional gyro with pork but they have many options including a vegetarian option with eggplant!“

“I have always dreamed of having a regular coffee shop, and -320 is exactly that! I come here almost every day and get to talk to some of the nicest people in Midtown. Oh, and did I mention their coffee is AMAZING? The pumpkin spice latte is better than any with their homemade syrups, but I am a fan of the brown sugar matcha year-round. I also can't get enough of the Morning Delight breakfast sandwich. Stop by next time you are on a walk around Midtown, you'll thank me for it!“

“Honestly one of the best places I’ve been in Detroit. The ambiance is open and inviting and the food is always great. I’m obsessed with the salad. It’s the most simple combination of ingredients but it hits every time, as well as the breakfast sandwich! Highly recommend coming“

“Imari was so polite and professional her concierge communication with me was very nice. She also took her time out and gave me a tour of the Cafe. I am a downtown edible vendor and Capital One Cafe is the place to be for business people. The atmosphere there is so pleasant. There’s so many good things I can say by the way I get good Mochas there also Highly recommended“

“One of my favorite places! Staff is great. They have limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating (covered with heaters for cold weather). The patio is such a vibe!
I love the Belle Island smoothie. I add the adaptogenic mushroom mix to mine for an additional cost. Other add ons include electrolyte hydration boost, maca, pea/whey protein, hangover helper, immune booster, etc.
I haven’t tried much of their food menu, but if you want a good snack, I always enjoy the power bites — made with sunflower butter, date, goji berry, oats, chia, date syrup, and sea salt. Delicious! :)“

“My wife and I were downtown for the pistons game at LCA on Saturday March 9th and wanted to find an affordable hotel to stay at while downtown. Well we found the siren online and as soon as I saw the pictures I was sold! All the reviews we’re good and I really don’t have one bad things to say about this place. It’s a beautiful historic building that’s almost 100 years old and they still have some of the original building in there. The room we got was 170 sq ft and it was not small at all it was perfect for just the two of us. The provided us with all the hotel amenities such as body wash and shampoo. The staff was amazing and so helpful with telling us how to get to where we needed to go. This place the pictures online do NO justice. From the lobby, to the candy bar, to the hallways, to the cafe in the morning to the ambiance when you first walk in it was all good! The only cons were : $40 valet parking and no phones in the hotel rooms. We parked at greektown and took the people mover to Broadway which is directly across the street from the siren. 10/10 would be back! Love this adorable historic vintage boutique hotel 🩷🩷🩷“

“This is such a nice café. Would be great if they had a couple more comfy chairs to sit and read a book with my coffee, but it's a small space so I get it.
Update: have been a number of times since for drinks and they always do a great job. Top notch all around!“
