“I’ve been going to Cannelle for the past five years, and they have never disappointed me. Their cakes are always beautifully designed, delicious, and a guaranteed hit whenever I bring one to a gathering.
Yesterday, there was a mix-up with my cake pickup, and I arrived at the Birmingham location shortly after closing to find the branch closed. What impressed me most was how the Cannelle team handled the situation. They diligently worked to locate the cake, opened the branch after hours, and personally delivered it to my event in West Bloomfield.
The cake arrived beautifully and was enjoyed by everyone. Mistakes can happen, but Cannelle truly went above and beyond to make things right. Their customer service was exceptional, and I’m very grateful for the care and effort they showed. I’ll happily continue recommending Cannelle to others.

“Really solid coffee shop! I came here in search of a latte for the morning walk. First, the space itself is very nice and open. Lots of tables available with seating, and seating at the window to people watch or work on a laptop. They had a nice selection of beverages with a great selection of syrups such as lavender, pistachio, and vanilla. The barista was very nice in offering recommendations to me. Pastries looked visually great, and were a good size. They had coffee cake, scones, brownies, etc. The coffee I got was really good and hot! I ordered a chai tea latte and was not disappointed. “I had my first visit on a Saturday and the Cafe featured live music! I stayed way past the last note. The musicians, Mike ? and Greg Mathis (not the judge, but the horn player), did a wonderful oldies but goodies show that took their responsive audience back to our young selves — great job! It was great fun being with my neighbors - they were funny and added so much to the stories Mike and Greg told around the music. The breakfast was just as memorable. My turkey sausage egg sandwich was moist and delicious and the cinnamon roll was so fresh and light, it tasted like it was made an hour ago. I tried my first ever latte - creamy and good. “If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Summertime Fresh bar was a great experience. We ordered the soba tofu wrap and the garden veggie wrap. Both were very filling, fresh, and extremely delicious. We also tried the avocado toast which was one of the best I’ve had. I’m a volume eater, and believe me, I did not leave hungry. The owner, Curtis, was very gracious and took his time to answer all of our questions and give additional information. It was money well spent and I really look forward to a return trip!“

“I’ve been here a couple of times and I love the atmosphere and pastries, but as a fellow barista, today the customer service was poor..I politely asked if I could have my drink hot instead because it was served iced (16 oz). No fault there, I did not mention it and the young lady at the register did not ask either. But when I got my hot drink from the barista, it was a small cup.. she walked over, sat it on my table and didn’t say anything. I understand they had to redial espresso and she may have been backed up a drink or two.. but giving me a small cup felt like a statement when the iced drinks are large.. I didn’t feel like dealing with another change so I let it be. It just left a poor taste in my mouth because I was very nice and completely fine with waiting for my coffee and was not rude about asking for my drink to be hot. If anyone’s gonna be upset with anyone, reiterate to your coworker to make sure they know if the customer wants an iced or hot drink, but don’t have an attitude with me and make me feel like I inconvenienced you.. I’m paying for a drink, you are literally getting paid to do your role and responsibilities.“

What was even better was that this Black-owned shop delivered in good service and outstanding quality and great varieties of coffee and teas! I had the delicious salted caramel latte!! And the best part was LITERALLY THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I have ever had at a coffee shop!! I had the turkey and cheese deluxe sandwich with their house sauce and Swiss cheese! “Milwaukee Coffee ☕ is Harry Potter chamber of secrets waiting for you to explore if you just finished your visit at the Food factory nearby.

You will not realize how low profile while luxury their indoor area is decorated, as most people sitting on the sidewalk area.

The weak lightings decorates the entire indoor area with sense of mystery, and the simple red-brick wall and wall papers simplify everything here.

This is a place definitely worth your 30-min to obtain the peaceful piece of mind in the old district.“

They have good Italian bakeries in Bensonhurst Brooklyn that look similar, but the variety they have here is unmatched unless someone shows me otherwise. Magnolia bakery has good cakes in Manhattan and Sadly Chip City Cookies are gone.“

“I stopped in today because I stumbled upon this cute little spot. I was incredibly happy in all areas. The space is so perfect, it’s not very big inside at all but it doesn’t really need to be. Most people grabbing coffee in town are in and out with things to do. The person greeted us promptly and made a perfectly warmed hot chocolate for my son which he very much enjoyed. He loved the latte art so much. My mother and I had Carmel lattes and they were the best I’ve had honestly ever. They were very good conversation while making the drinks as well. My fiancé is jealous and we will be stopping in again very soon.“

“I had a last minute morning meeting at work where I had to bring in drinks and food, and for the life of me I was not having an luck with where I can go to and solve my problem. I was about 2 minutes away from this specific Biggby and let me say, thank the Lord that was the case.

I walked in and the gentleman who was helping me, who later told me he was the owner of the establishment, was the picture definition of what customer service should be.

I dropped a large order on them with no prior notice, during their busy time, and was met with nothing but positivity on the staffs end. The whole team was moving like a well oiled machine. They finished my order, by extension saving my behind in an extremely timely manner.

Thankfully, the pros don’t stop there. The food was a hit! The breakfast sandwiches were so fresh you’d think they were home made. I’ve always been a fan of their coffee in general so I’m not sure if it was just the positive experience influencing my taste buds, but the coffee was also to die for!

I’m so glad to have found a quality establishment to frequent next to my job that doesn’t break the bank or sacrifice quality for profits. The only regret I have is not having stopped by sooner! Thanks guys!“

“Wow! Came for brunch and had an amazing time. The service was so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Started sharing a pot of the mufawar coffee and it was so delicious and warming. Perfect antidote to the chill outside. We had the shakshuka, kofta and eggs, and gallaba (beef over hummus version). Everything tasted so so good, we all ate until we were stuffed. Portions were generous and prices were great. Also enjoyed lentil soup to start and milk cake at the end. Visiting from out of town or this would 100% be in our regular rotation.
