“When I tell you that this place has the best coffee ive ever had, I mean it. The only one close is Winstons Coffee in Colorado. Samaya is an absolute delight! I went there twice today simply because it was so good and she was so pleasant. Im autistic and talk a lot and sometimes I know im a lot but she didnt have a line and we talked about growing up in similar places and world views and I cant begin to tell you how kind and worldy that young lady is. Im well older and when I tell you that she needs a raise, I mean it. My husband and I will be returning. We live in lansing and this very glorious and beautiful cafe is worth the drive in itself. Melvindale finally has something fancy and delicious and its Yemen Coffee at Mocha Me. I got the iced mocha latte both times. My absolute only complaint is that they dont have bigger sizes.“

“It was mcteacher's night and several middle school teachers were volunteering there. The middle school students converged on the place to watch their teachers flip b v burgers. The restaurant is quite small as is the parking lot, which was buzzing with activity, scooters, bikes, etc
The food was solid and fresh, and the staff was helpful and efficient. The restrooms were clean, surprising with all the students there. It was difficult to get out of the parking lot due to the road construction going on and the time of day“

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.“

“I’ve been going to Cannelle for the past five years, and they have never disappointed me. Their cakes are always beautifully designed, delicious, and a guaranteed hit whenever I bring one to a gathering.
Yesterday, there was a mix-up with my cake pickup, and I arrived at the Birmingham location shortly after closing to find the branch closed. What impressed me most was how the Cannelle team handled the situation. They diligently worked to locate the cake, opened the branch after hours, and personally delivered it to my event in West Bloomfield.
The cake arrived beautifully and was enjoyed by everyone. Mistakes can happen, but Cannelle truly went above and beyond to make things right. Their customer service was exceptional, and I’m very grateful for the care and effort they showed. I’ll happily continue recommending Cannelle to others.

“Obsessed. I stop in here at least twice per week for my usual vanilla latte with oat milk, which I highly recommend. The freshly made treats are delicious. The artwork is always interesting and changes frequently enough that it's always worth a trip inside even though they have a super convenient walk-up window. “If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“I was a bit irritated because this was my first visit and there was no menu displayed. I was also upset because they dont serve food. Also, I order a medium latte (assuming it'd be hot, but it was iced) so again irritated. However, one sip of my latte and all the irritation disapated. The coffee was OUTSTANDING. You can taste how fresh the brew is. I was definitely be a returning customer. Beyond pleased with my coffee ☕ 😍“

“This cafe is the place to be! Loved it! So many awesome books, very spacious and great seating. They have highchairs. They also have a prayer room which was amazing! There’s a nice outdoor seating too. I tried their new cookie butter latte and it was delicious! I also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich called Holbrook and it was a good spicy meal! I highly recommend this place. It’s also all halal so it was perfect for us to try!“

“I was visiting Detroit for a good friend’s wedding and decided to check Alba out because it was one of the places they recommended on their wedding website. The space is cool, the service was friendly and reasonably quick, the iced vanilla late I got was tasty, but the star of the show was the Egg Sandie. I can say confidently that it’s one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. I was a little skeptical since I usually have bacon or sausage breakfast sandwiches, but I was totally blown away. It is somehow simultaneously light but still filling and is soooo flavorful. It’s a very unique sandwich that I’ll be dreaming of for a while. 100% will come back to this spot if I’m ever back in town.“

“Summertime Fresh bar was a great experience. We ordered the soba tofu wrap and the garden veggie wrap. Both were very filling, fresh, and extremely delicious. We also tried the avocado toast which was one of the best I’ve had. I’m a volume eater, and believe me, I did not leave hungry. The owner, Curtis, was very gracious and took his time to answer all of our questions and give additional information. It was money well spent and I really look forward to a return trip!“

“Really solid coffee shop! I came here in search of a latte for the morning walk. First, the space itself is very nice and open. Lots of tables available with seating, and seating at the window to people watch or work on a laptop. They had a nice selection of beverages with a great selection of syrups such as lavender, pistachio, and vanilla. The barista was very nice in offering recommendations to me. Pastries looked visually great, and were a good size. They had coffee cake, scones, brownies, etc. The coffee I got was really good and hot! I ordered a chai tea latte and was not disappointed. Overall, a great stop.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times and I love the atmosphere and pastries, but as a fellow barista, today the customer service was poor..I politely asked if I could have my drink hot instead because it was served iced (16 oz). No fault there, I did not mention it and the young lady at the register did not ask either. But when I got my hot drink from the barista, it was a small cup.. she walked over, sat it on my table and didn’t say anything. I understand they had to redial espresso and she may have been backed up a drink or two.. but giving me a small cup felt like a statement when the iced drinks are large.. I didn’t feel like dealing with another change so I let it be. It just left a poor taste in my mouth because I was very nice and completely fine with waiting for my coffee and was not rude about asking for my drink to be hot. If anyone’s gonna be upset with anyone, reiterate to your coworker to make sure they know if the customer wants an iced or hot drink, but don’t have an attitude with me and make me feel like I inconvenienced you.. I’m paying for a drink, you are literally getting paid to do your role and responsibilities.“

“Wife and I walked over as we lost power during the ice storm. It also happened to be my birthday, this came up in conversation at the register. We got a custard berry cake dish and when I opened it they played happy birthday for about 15 seconds (perfect amount of time lol).

They were super easy going about us hanging out and working, some of the best pastries I've ever had as well. Took a pretty cruddy day and make it memorable.“
