“Family owned business. The mom cooks the food at the restaurant part. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the chicken is. Everyone is really nice and friendly.”

“If you like a bar with a great local feel, this is it. It’s the perfect size—not too big, not too small—and the energy is awesome. We loved getting the jukebox going with some 90s R&B; it really got the whole place involved! Great drink specials and a perfect spot to unwind. It’s loud, fun, and nostalgic. A real gem!”

“I tried this for the first time this month and I would say quite delicious. Nice staff and very helpful, voice your concerns and ask questions, they were patient with me (I asked lots of questions on the different items, they were very helpful). Also super authentic everything made in house!!”

“When I tell you that this place has the best coffee ive ever had, I mean it. The only one close is Winstons Coffee in Colorado. Samaya is an absolute delight! I went there twice today simply because it was so good and she was so pleasant. Im autistic and talk a lot and sometimes I know im a lot but she didnt have a line and we talked about growing up in similar places and world views and I cant begin to tell you how kind and worldy that young lady is. Im well older and when I tell you that she needs a raise, I mean it. My husband and I will be returning. We live in lansing and this very glorious and beautiful cafe is worth the drive in itself. Melvindale finally has something fancy and delicious and its Yemen Coffee at Mocha Me. I got the iced mocha latte both times. My absolute only complaint is that they dont have bigger sizes.”

All around every where was flooded. And instead of closing up and going home. The staff was very accommodating, from the moment me and my family walked in the door. Food was great, Atmosphere was fun. And staff was awesome.”
