“Smokin' Steve's catered our wedding and we couldn't thank them enough! Everyone LOVED our food and people still talk about how delicious it was. We also chose to have the charcuterie table for our cocktail hour, and it was BEAUTIFUL. All of our guests were saying how they didn't want to be the first people to eat off it because it was so nicely set up. Julie was great to work with in organizing everything we wanted prior to the wedding, and the entire staff they had helping on wedding day were so kind. I highly recommend!”

“Now I have been going to these KKC places but this one has them beat, I just found my chicken spot , the main reason I was going was they have fried corn on cob and being from the south I was missing it. But I found it, if only they would make a restaurant, but theses little snack spots are still good. It's in a citco station on Jefferson, find it trust you will like it”

“I absolutely love this place. Mel and Keenan delivered excellent customer service to my family and I. I ordered The Works deep dish pizza and added green olives. 😋😋 Best pizza Downriver, hands down. The perfect amount of sauce and cheese and all of those delicious toppings, definitely Heaven on Earth. I am super impressed as well as satisfied and will be back soon. “Haven't been here in awhile. Now I remember why. Waited almost 10 minutes at the counter before anyone took my order. They could have attest acknowled they knew I was waiting to be served instead of rolling their eyes and giving dirty looks. The food sucked fries where cold and tough.
The guy cleaning the lobby just starts spraying stuff on the floor not caring g if he gets it on you then left the floor so wet you basically slipped your way out the door.”

“Wow. What an absolutely fantastic final dinner of 2023! After we managed to find a late dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, it was a relief to discover that our excitement about the tasting menu was well-placed. I would definitely recommend the drink pairings as well! The amuse-bouche featuring oysters from the West and East coasts was a delightful way to splash into the meal. The wasabi and the mangosteen featured in each of the oysters, respectively, complimented the beautiful brine of the oysters in such a wonderfully playful way. This first tasting urged us to pause the menu progression and order an extra dozen oysters to explore the other possibilities. Tasting from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, they were beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The first course of lobster salad felt like a summer in Maine. Not that I've ever been to Maine, but the imaginary scene flashed across my vision as I took that first refreshing bite. The grapefruit emulsion worked almost majestically with the light, refreshing flavor of the lobster salad. The tapioca chip was perfect for the crunch to fully bring the different elements of the dish together. A fascinating intersection of refreshment and comfort. The second course was the potato pavé. I'll be thinking of this potato often for the foreseeable future. It was one of those dishes that makes your eyes pop open a bit when you bite it as you realize how good it is. A beautifully layered and seared rectangle of flaky delicious potato resting with a lovely salsa brava speckled with trout roe, topped with tarragon, cured trout, and black truffle flakes. I don't even know what else to say. It was stunning. Sea urchin buttered ramen, the third course, will always be what I wish my at-home thrown-together ramen could be. It was rich, it was luscious, it was comforting. Growing up in southeast Texas, crawfish boils were always some of the most exciting times of the year. The crawfish tails in the ramen brought me back to those summer days eating crawfish with a cold beer. The duck breast for the fourth course was exceptionally cooked. It was juicy and flavorful and made a perfect bite with a bit of cauliflower, raisins, apricot, agrodolce, and foie-sauce. Each bite was such a symphony of flavor that kept me coming back. Last but absolutely not least was the gâteau ardéchois: the chestnut cream cake. Accompanied by cranberry coulis and crispy meringue bites, this dessert was a sweet but still mellow finish. While the coffee mascarpone ice cream was a robust and complementary flavor, we both agreed the vanilla coconut ice cream was the star between the two. Thank you again to the stellar crew at Mink! “Gentlemen, my day started out with getting a different car for a friend today, and then checking to see if my mom's house that she grew up in is still on 51 LeBlanc, River Rouge, unfortunately it's no longer standing, so we finished by stopping by for a Lafayette Coney Special, It was the Best Coney Dog and the Service was Awesome, God Bless You All & Thank You, & May Your Business that has been around since 1914, have many more years, Therefore if anyone is traveling through Detroit, MI, make sure you Stop By & Get Yourself a Lafayette Coney Island Special, You Won't Be Disappointed.”

“Made Friday night reservations 2 weeks ahead for a table (you can sit at the bar too with reservations). Free parking literally right in front was a huge win for a busy evening. We were on time and waited just a few minutes, which actually worked out because the open kitchen smells and those flames totally pulled us in. Super warm, cozy vibe and the space looks just as good inside as it does from the outside. Once we sat down in the cozy chair/table setup, we kicked things off with drinks and ordered apps and mains all at once. Everything came out fast and hot. The mussels, beef tartare, and tuna tartare were all flavorful, and just really well done. The only letdown was the Pollo that looked great but really needed more seasoning (& onions lol) to match the rest of the menu. Service was friendly & fantastic. Overall, it was an awesome family night out and a spot we’d happily come back to. 5/5.”

“These were hearty portions! They were not afraid to experiment with flavors and everything felt fresh and locally sourced.y favorite item was the salad, which is something I rarely, if ever say. I liked the casual vibe that was half fancy restaurant vs half butcher shop (although there was also a bar on the butcher shop side). Even better female butcher/owner/chef....
I am not someone who craves meat but I will come back to see whatever tasty concoctions that the team comes up with.”

“First time here! Loved the atmosphere & vibe. Food & drinks were good although over-priced like everywhere these days. The BEST part of my experience was the friendliness of the staff! Sean, pictured here wasn’t even our main waiter but interacted with us, helped us out, & even gave us an extra cheers 🥂 before we headed to the Bruno Mara concert! Sean TY SOOOO MUCH!!! “My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.”
