“03/02/24: Late review, but nonetheless, came looking for something different and decided to try this place on said date. It has some nice decor and is clean. Waitstaff was attentive and checked in occasionally, despite it being peak hours. Dined in around 8pm. I got in quickly since it was just me, but there can be a bit of a wait as there seemed to be a lot of families(a couple of groups of families were waiting), so be ready if you decide to dine in late afternoon/early evening.Food was fantastic. The starter flatbread with the two garlic aioli(?) sauces(normal + spicy) was hot, fresh, and palatable. Got the Fattoush Salad, the Malek Stir-Fry(chicken), and the Chicken Sajji with a strawberry smoothie. All dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The salad was a bit too vinaigrette-ty for my tastes though. The poultry dishes were savory and the Sajji had that right tinge of heat.”

“We usually have bad luck with finding a good Italian restaurant but this place was fantastic!! The food quality was fresh and very tasty (the ranch dressing was very good as per other reviews). The Andrea Bocelli inspired spaghetti carbonara and lamb shank were perfect! The menu offers a large variety of items, we will definitely revisit (but next time no apps as they’re filling, along with the free bread given as well). The restaurant is kid friendly, and plenty of high chairs are available.The only complaint I have is I was leaving the restaurant with a stroller, and the doors don’t have automatic open functions and many staff were at the front desk chatting and using their cell phones which was unprofessional.”

“I never leave reviews on things, but my god the burger I had here was one of the best burgers I've ever had by a pretty decent margin. The ambiance was a little off because there was a small amount of construction going on, but that did not detract from my experience. Staff was friendly and readily available. The artwork is always interesting and changes frequently enough that it's always worth a trip inside even though they have a super convenient walk-up window. The staff is always friendly and helpful and my drink comes out A+ without fail.”

Perhaps a bit more attention to the brewing process or sourcing of beans could elevate the coffee to match the excellence of the surroundings.Overall, I would rate Jabal 4 stars. “Hot Spot Eatery was a delightful restaurant b which stays open till 4 am during Ramadan and is also HALAL. I had the opportunity to visit and try their delectable food which I highly recommend, their food is fresh and well seasoned and the portion size is on point. I had their spicy chicken sub and their mango habanero boneless wings. Their sauces are nonidentical to other sauces, the freshness of the ingredients are immaculate. The atmosphere is astounding and reminds me of industrial Detroit. The customer service was A1, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he’s a very kind hearted man.”

“I've had the Filet multiple times here and I can't honestly say that it is without a doubt the BEST STEAK I have ever had. The dry age on it creates this amazing bark from the grill and it is ALWAYS seasoned to perfection. I choose Mint29 over any other steakhouse any day of the week.”

“Outstanding Sushi: Expertly prepared and delicious, Nami Sushi serves some of the best sushi I've had in the US. The eel avacado roll, a requested variation of their eel cucumber roll, was the tastiest I've had anywhere in 5+ years, maybe ever. If you haven't tried the Omusubi, make sure to order one of these finely crafted triangular pockets of rice with yummy fillings. Or enjoy one of their fresh Donburi Bowls. Everything we've had has been good. The owners are nice and aim to please. I don't normally eat at food trucks or trailers, but this is my one no-brainer exception. A+.”

“I have come for dinner here the last 2 years for both Halloween Weekends and Holiday Nights (aka in October and December). Both events are so much fun. The staff of Eagle Tavern does a good job of getting us all into the atmosphere of the Tavern and what we would've expected in the 1850s as far as food and service goes. Eagle Tavern is completely able to handle my gluten free requirements even during these 2 huge events. Most of the food that is provided are gluten free. The one major exception is the dessert course. For the last 2 years, during both events, the dessert has been an Apple crisp. It has been made of apple pie filling with an oatmeal crisp on tip. If anything, it has looked better then what the main dessert has been. During the events, there is a bar available for people to purchase a drink or 2. Each time there has been 2 custom alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic. The prices have been reasonable. There is also always a show along with the dinner. Normally it has just been the "travelers " working to earn their dinner. The 2 fall events are always fun. I will definitely be back for them in the future”

“I haven't eaten at Carter's hamburgers since November of 2019 when I was hit by drunk driver leaving me partially paralyzed walking to my Explorer. It isn't what I remembered but it was good food. I think it's been there for about seeing as a rolling Stones since I guess the beginning of time. Just kidding. The ladies are fantastic. They get things done as fast as they can. They have a restroom. It's not very handicap accessible. If you're in wheelchair or walker that's on the first floor in the parking small. The corner is busy but either like greasy hamburgers or you don't. If you do. Carter's is a great deal, but the ladies are second to none and the red velvet cake is homemade by Denise and oh man yummy! Okay one complaint of mine is the modern day jukebox. It's such a tiny place and if somebody doesn't agree with the music that you like, they're going to say something. But if they had a jukebox and if I had the money, I'd purchase one. I want an old 45 but your $0.50 in or quarter and watch the record get picked up and put on and play it that way. I don't want to hear digital content this kind of places. What remind you of what you would watch like on Happy Days with the roller skate servers in the parking lot and that kind of place deserves an original 45 pressed on wax rock and rollerParking: It's in a very tough spot on West outer Drive and Southfield service drive. If you get on the left, you're getting on the Southfield right before 94. If you stayed to the right, it takes you to Van Born Road. There's parking just down the block if you find it. Hard to park in the tiny lot but they've been there for a long long long time. So either know the place or you don't. Is it for a tourist? No is it for local people? Hell yes it is”

The place was clean, the guy at the front (owner?) was welcoming, and the prices are great. I wanted a Parmesan chicken sandwich but they were out so we got 2 crispy chicken sandwiches, no onions and 1 with cheese. The sandwich tasted amazing. Idk if it was cheese sauce or not, but no cheese slices on either. There was onions on one but it was large cut and easy to remove. I'm still so impressed so I won't hold it against them. The sandwich itself had two crispy juicy tenders in it and fresh lettuce and tomato. Hard to hold with two tenders but fun if you're a sloppy eater. The fries that came with them were crispy And well seasoned. We waited a while for the sandwiches and the nice gentleman gave us drinks for the wait.”

The perfect Halal pizzeria go-to, can't recommend this one enough. ✅ This place allows different crust options that are mix and match to customize your pizza the way you want(everything seasoned, Cajun, buttery garlic, and even Parm sprinkled - all of these can be asked for in quantities of normal, extra, or light) provided free with the pizza's base price which isn't something you see all too often given the amount of options given and quality. Don't be afraid to get creative, staff will totally help you live your pizza dreams! ✅ Extra toppings are allowed on orders(with a charge, of course, that isn't bad for size) so you can go as wild as you wish. You can also ask for toppings to be removed from speciality pizzas if wanted. ✅ Place is very calm and not extremely busy. Around 7:30PM on a Saturday we were only #44 (and there was only one family there in the time period of us being there) so don't expect a crowd, but expect a great table or out the door catering experience! ✅ Food is made with care, every pie comes out beautifully and is a little work of art. Pies are brought out sliced for ease and accessibility - they're ready to go and all slices are well done! You can tell the staff cares about their product as well as their customers and we love to see it. ✅ Perfect small business option(as well as vegetarian and gluten free option) to go where the food and serve is top tier. ✅ Dine-in, take-out, and delivery options are all available. Pizza boxes are provided willingly and nicely by the staff for any leftovers at dine-in, as well as all take-out and delivery orders. ✅ Pizzas can come in a variety of slices including a truly large size of 18". (and for speciality pizzas of 18" price ranges 18-25$ per 18" pie) ✅ If you're feeling a slice or two instead of an entire pie you can order per slice with a slice price of 3$. ✅ There's an option to tip on your bill given the receipt, and also an option to tip in cash. This place allows you easy access to tipping your serving staff. Workers are very happy with tips and more than deserving. ‼️ Everything here is made with love and by hand, so meals take time(and are well worth the time they take! You can tell nothing is rushed.). It's not a "super fast" pizza service like quick pizza chains(Little Caesars, Dominos, etc.) if you walk in and order behind the counter, but orders are made with care and easily personalized. Expect a wait. To skip the wait times you can order ahead online for pickup / dine-in / delivery and I recommend doing so if time is of the essence and you don't have the ability to wait.”

As this is a food truck, there is only a parking lot, so no atmosphere except any present company. After placing the order, one of the employees brought out the food and said thank you for coming there. The wings were smaller than I would've liked, but were cooked perfectly. sprinkled with a generous amount of lemon pepper (which I love). The chicken fries come with grilled onions and green peppers, nacho cheese, jalapeños and topped with hot cheetos. When I say these are the most flavorful fries I've EVER had, I mean it!! Everything was perfect!! I added the leftover lemon pepper and took it up another notch with a citrus kick. Short story long... I'LL BE BACK!! Definitely a banger”
“First off - the Classic Philly Cheesesteak was pretty impressive. I don't put any sauces on it and it was superb. My only grind is the price - $15 is kind of a stretch for what I just ate. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, but it's probably more of a $10-12 cheesesteak. Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed my meal, but this cost prevents me from returning on a frequent basis. Next, I opted for the cheese fries. Again, they tasted good, but not as good as the Cheesesteak, so $7 is a pretty aggressive price tag. I should've opted for the "Regular fries" @ $3.50. Overall - Bulldog's Cheesesteaks is a solid 3 1/2 - 4 stars; however, I would've considered this a solid 5-Star meal if the pricing was more appropriate. Three other quick things - Two Pro's and One Con: PRO #1 - the guy who was working the grill is CLEARLY good at what he does and I can tell that he takes pride in his ability to cook a good cheesesteak. So, Kudos to him. PRO #2 - I like the decor. It is a good mix of "classic" Sports memorabilia and Spider-Man memorabilia. CON - when you pay for your meal with a credit card, the three gratuity options are very inflated. The options were: 18%, 20% and 25%. I have a significant problem with any "counter order" eatery "expecting" an 18% gratuity. I mean, 18% is actually an exceptional tip for a "counter order" establishment. The gratuity options should probably be: 12%, 15% and 18%. These high gratuity options demonstrate a sense of entitlement. However, since I was the only person in Bulldog's when my cheesesteak was ready, the chef personally walked my meal out to me at my table - so I'll give props for that. However, if this place had been really busy, I would have to think that my name would've been called, and I'd go pickup my meal. If I'm correct, that definitely DOES NOT constitute more than a 12-15% tip.”

“I must express profound disappointment and palpable frustration with our recent dining experience at Benihana. The entire meal felt like a series of unfortunate events. To begin with, my shrimp was so charred it was nearly inedible. More bafflingly, our cook felt it apt to throw food at us, a gesture neither entertaining nor appropriate. My sister clearly informed the cook of her mushroom and shellfish allergies, yet he carelessly used the same utensils for her dish, causing an immediate allergic reaction. My brother also tried, multiple times, to clarify his order, only to be ignored; the cook placed what he deemed fit onto his plate. I ordered the trio, and while he confirmed my order, he only gave me shrimp and steak. I expressed to him that I didn't receive my chicken, but was met with an attitude. He questioned why I didn't clarify at the start. I reminded him that I had indeed specified my order when he initially asked, and it was even written down on the order sheet he was using. Despite the evidence, he seemed uninterested in rectifying the oversight and continued to display a dismissive demeanor. This lack of attention to detail and blatant disregard for customer communication left me deeply frustrated and tainted our entire dining experience. The indifference continued when my niece and her father requested double rice, only to be met with evident reluctance. And later, when I inquired about sauce, the response came with a touch of disdain, suggesting such requests should have been made at the outset. Our intention for visiting Benihana was to celebrate my niece's dance competition success. But the evening was anything but celebratory. As we were leaving, hoping to address our concerns, I asked the hosting stand for additional contacts or a manager. They vaguely suggested calling back the next day, all while standing around, exuding a palpable disinterest. Given this regrettable and frustrating experience, I firmly believe seeking a refund is both appropriate and warranted.”

“Came here with my friends and had a great dinner. We ordered the kebab platter for 2-4 people and it worked great for our party of four. Loved all the different variations of chicken/ lamb/ beef. The Adana was supreme! The chicken was so delicious. We loved the rice and salad and pita that came along side of the platter. We also ordered the sucuklu hummus and it was amazing. The iskender didn't have a traditional Turkish flavor bc it had a bit of cinnamon added to it. I think some people love this but for me I prefer the traditional version. The Kunefe was soooo good!”
