“Visited here because it was open late. Got myself a latte with oat milk, which was extremely good, but notice that they also sold Acai Bowls. I decided to order one. Acai bowls are known to be a little expensive, but this one wasn't too bad. Not only that, but this was probably the best and freshest Acai Bowls that I've ever ordered from anywhere. Not to mention the portion size that coincided with the price. I will definitely be coming back to try all the different kinds that they have.“

We were so pleased to stumble upon this hidden gem on Cauayan Beach, and it certainly didn't disappoint. ​The first thing you notice is the striking industrial-rustic aesthetic. It strikes a perfect balance between modern design and laid-back beach vibes. While they currently close at 8:00 PM, it’s easy to imagine this becoming the ultimate weekend beach bar—it’s just begging for some twinkling fairy lights, bean bags and a chilled Ibiza sunset playlist! ​The menu focuses on simple easy food and beverages. While they don’t serve alcohol themselves, they offer a corkage fee option, which is a great touch for those who want to bring their own drinks for a sunset toast. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. ​The biggest win for us? It’s pet-friendly! Having a massive beach right out front makes it the perfect spot for long dog walks followed by a relaxed sit-down. We 100% recommend Coco Shack for anyone looking for a chilled afternoon. “I've been here twice so far. The customer service is great! The employees are nice & helpful. The lattes are delicious, I had a hot one on my 1st visit & an iced one on my 2nd. I deducted a star for 2 reasons: One, there is no 'Rose Cafe' signage on the outside of the building, so I passed it on my 1st visit & so did others who I was meeting with. A little annoying to do the turn around on Telegraph during peak hours. And second, they only offer treats to eat (cookies, cake pops & cheesecake). Drinking a latte with any of those is sugar overload. It would be great if they partnered with a local bakery for some bagels, croissants, quiche, etc. to offer a little more variety.“

“First time at Sams coffee the food was beautiful. We had the streaky bacon brioche with scrambled eggs, cheddar and fresh chives, every mouth full was so tasty the bacon was crispy, not greasy it was light it actually reminded me of bacon frazzle crisps it was that light. The scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy perfectly paired with the toasted brioche bun. To drink I had a chemex coffee using a Kenyon blend it was fruity and full of flavor. Then to finish a flat white which was beautiful. I highly recommended Sams Coffee we will be back very soon“

“This place is amazing. Turkish coffee is delicious and my favorite. I enjoy my regular coffee with heavy whipping cream, maple syrup and cinnamon. However, I took a sip of the Turkish coffee just as it was prepared and was delicious and full of flavor. Extra hot (my request), plain with a layer of smooth syrup coffee grounds on the bottom. Yes, sounds odd, but don't judge until you try it. True coffee lovers will appreciate the smooth taste. The service was wonderful and the staff was willing to answer any questions. Also, any of the wonderful desserts will compliment your coffee. This is my number one coffee shop!! ❤️“

More than a few songs I've heard on their house playlist have been added to my own. I confess that I've yet to order food (from Biggby's sweets and toasted bagel sandwich-centric offerings). That said, The owner did treat me to some tasty lemon bites once. I reciprocated a week later with some stuffed jalapenos from home. Now, I feel like Biggby West Dearborn and I are neighbors who've gotten to know each other a little bit better. Here's to their hospitality. They always help me feel truly at home. “I think this might be the only fast drive thru left in the United States. Even if there are a dozen cars in front of you during morning rush hour, you can get through the drive thru line in three minutes or less and still make it to work on time, caffeine in hand. They have saved my entire day more times than I can count. They are my personal heroes. Also, if you are someone reading this review and you can’t figure out how to order thru a speaker or have your form of
payment ready, please go somewhere else so the rest of us can keep enjoying this magical, unicorn of a drive thru.“
