I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! Plus the food is always very yummy too! ✌🏻😉💜🫰🏻🇰🇷“

He was so kind and gave us free waters and let us try an unreleased smoothie he was working on. We had the Cesar wrap and cilantro lime chicken and they both were fantastic. “I have a new favorite cafe! Today was my first visit to Moondog Cafe on Linwood in Detroit. I loved everything about it - the ambiance, the people, the food, the decor. The staff I met seemed like very friendly, inviting, and interesting people. I had a black cherry soda with cane sugar that hit the spot and a savory curry pastry that was absolutely incredible. I definitely plan to be back; I especially want to come back some time when a show or musical event is scheduled, as the stage and set-up looked like it will be ideal for intimate musical performances.“

“This is my go to loacal bakery from savory to sweet they have it all they make bread fresh all day long and at some of the best prices as well. There prices are amazing as well. They do boba and Ramen as well but there steamed chines sausage buns with egg are where it at!!! Tend to get 2 to 3 ever time I go there. Parking: In the Michigan Design building. Easy to find. Park anywhere on premises. I took the shuttle from the nearby car dealerships while waiting for service.“

1.) Best Chocolate Chip Pancakes I've ever had. Super chocolatey and they even threw some on top of the pancakes as well to really up the chocolate factor. Delicious.

2.)The bason was outstanding...like outstanding. It was crispy, it was tender, it was flavorful, it had a smokiness that I don't believe I've ever experienced from bacon before. Phenomenal.

3.) The Hash Browns were BROWN! There's nothing that ruins a breakfast faster than soggy nasty hash browns and I'm happy to report these were delicious, crispy, and golden brown.

I had a take-away order via DoorDash so I can't comment on the atmosphere but if their food is any indication, the place is probably wonderful.
