“We absolutely love Cannelle. The quality of the food here is unmatched, and it’s honestly the closest thing I’ve found to some of my favorite bakeries over in Europe.

My husband and I come here often and I’ve never had anything I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. The sandwiches are great, the bread, the pastries, everything.

I highly recommend any of fruit pastries shaped like the actual fruit they’re flavored.

The only thing to note is that the cafe itself is very very small, and seating is limited. This is a popular location so sometimes it can be really crowded inside. Additionally, keep in mind theres not a lot of parking available.“

Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. “I finally got the chance to try Tall Trees thanks to their newer extended hours! I was greeted by Tori who was super kind and helpful - they even had great recommendations for me and were able to answer all the questions I had about the menu. As someone who is plant based I loved that there were options for me! I tried the Later Tater which was scrumptious and flavorful with every bite! I also had to try all of the sides including the Red Pepper Cashew Pasta Salad (loved it with the olive tapenade on top - nice touch), Gigante Beans (herby dill deliciousness) and the star of the show was truly the BBQ Potato Salad! I’m hoping in the future there are even more options for sandwiches on the menu for plant based eaters!“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “Perfect date spot for your nerdy girlfriend. This cafe has a cozy coffee house vibe. Soufle pancakes are what you order for her - worth the 30min cooking time. Takoyaki was so much fun.

Sushi rolls were very well thought out, flavors balanced and layered but kept the high quality fish as the primary flavor. I was seriously impressed with the sushi rolls. 5 out of 5 stars.“

“Monarch Market Cafe has become a staple of Huntington Woods, MI. As a resident of the neighborhood, promoter of small businesses and an avid coffee lover, this is my go to spot for a delicious latte or a quick bite to eat. There are reviews that mark down the cakes because they taste 'eggy' which is weird to do because egg is the primary ingredient in these cakes. There's absolutely no cheese so please adjust your expectations if you go there. I hate to see a business suffer because people don't understand what they're supposed to expect“

“Love this place. Girls are always very attractive, friendly, and their smiles and pleasant conversation always make my day when I visit. It is always nice to watch them make my coffee. The coffee menu has good choices. The Waterford location is my closest location so it is always clean and the drive thru is spacious. One suggestion though, maybe invest in a new sign out front, the current plastic could use a good cleaning or replacement.“

“I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood.
