“I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that in mind if you’re planning an early visit.

Overall, it was a wonderful birthday treat, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!“

“My experience at The Espresso House was excellent overall. We found this spot online, and it is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere was very masculine and spacious, with large televisions showcasing different soccer games. Very cool to have if you’re a soccer fan. The service was also amazing. The man who helped us was not only welcoming, but also very kind and patient. Regarding our drinks, they were delicious. My caramel latte had just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely recommend this cafe if you are looking for a nice drink.“

“I absolutely love this bakery! We drive about an hour for it and it never disappoints. Get there early because the best stuff goes fast. There is also a little extra parking on the street if you find the lot full (which it often is). My favorite thing is the pistachio croissants, but if you are looking for savory, I also recommend the pastries with mozzerella, basil, and sun-dried tomato.“

“Been here a few times already but I love coming back with new people to try it. We got the classic cotton cake and the ube cotton cake. The ube is my favorite and the flavor blows me away every time. The cotton cakes are so light and fluffy. We got a cotton candy frappe and a cookies and cream frappe to go with the cotton cakes and those were a bit disappointing. They weren't really blended well and tasted like a melted vanilla ice cream with a hint of the flavor. Not frozen at all. They looked pretty though.
Side note to mention that the bathroom door button lock had fallen off and the employee helped me find it and put it back on but they are aware it needs to be fixed.
I plan on continuing to come back to this place as the cotton cakes never disappoint“

“Had not been here for a salad in a long time. Their Chef Salad was just as good or better than I remembered. Lots of fresh tasty vegetables, meats cheese. Freshly baked Pita Bread and Salad Dressing was just right! Waitress was wonderful! Very helpful. Happy with the price and prompt service. Highly recommend!! Most places don’t add a lot of flavor. Only downside is add more cinnamon pls. BUT best breakfast place in the area. Very good food, very good service. Love love love. Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! “The food is decent for an office cafe. My fries were a bit cold, but the taste was decent. The staff seem to be abundant and helpful. There are plenty of tables. There are lots of food options as well. I like that you can order online, but you'll need to approach the counter for online orders. They don't call them out like all the rest of the orders.“
