“Came here for a quick dinner with some of my girlfriends after my wedding dress fitting, and it was the perfect spot. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, and the menu offered plenty of variety with lots of great options to choose from. We each tried different chef selections, and everyone loved both their food and drinks. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mocktail menu for anyone not drinking but still wanting something special. The service was friendly and very attentive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely go back!”

“I’ve never had a bad meal at any one of their many restaurants. We celebrated my daughter and her graduation this evening with dinner at the Deer Lake Inn. Everything we had was great and the server we had was superb, great food and service. The entire menu is good, you can’t go wrong.”

“I had an incredible experience with Holy Cannoli’s. The cannoli shells are nice and crisp, and the filling is delicious. They fill each cannoli when you order, which keeps the shells crisp and the filling fresh. I will definitely be going back for more.”

“Finally made it to this beautiful bakery today, and it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted promptly and kindly by Paulette, who answered questions and made suggestions. She was so helpful and engaging. My husband chose a Cinnamon Roll and I chose a Kronut. Both were absolutely delicious. The window display of Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown is next-level, and worth the trip from anywhere, but make sure you go inside and get some awesome treats while you are there. Excellent, fresh baked goods and wonderful service, in an inviting and mouth-watering environment. Home Bakery takes the cake!”

“My son is in his third year of college here and his second year of living in Hillcrest Hall, and he absolutely loves it!!! I’m so happy that he has a nice safe place to stay away from home while getting a great education!!!”

“Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️”

“The food was good but….. When I gave the waitress the cash to pay my bill she owed me change. She returned to the table with my change but not the coins. She turned around and looked at the wait staff behind the bar. One of them went over to the register immediately to retrieve my coins….. They already knew she did not give me all my change. She then proceeded to bring over the rest of my change.”
