“One of my favorite restaurants in Rochester. Great food and atmosphere. Great Service. Highly recommend the house salad which comes with a ginger dressing, it's really yummy. A must stop for folks that like Sushi and Japanese style noodles.“
“This place is great. The chef and waitress are extremely kind people. The eel sauce doesn't have a strange after taste like some other restaurants. They stay true to their fresh and clean motto, and their decor is really fun. I really hope this business takes off because their sushi and service are phenomenal.“
“Loved this place!! Went here for my husband’s bday with couple of our frends, they had a hand written note wishing him bday which was very sweet .We ordered Natsu , unkai , juraku & hiro in speciality rolls , lobster fried rice - which had an amazing taste full points to the fried rice but the lobster was very chewy which was a disappointment but ignored it cos overall the food was 10/10 . Also we had their handmade fries which was just perfect fries . We had couple of cocktails and sake. Overall amazing service and the end of the dinner they lit a candle to celebrate my husband bday.“
“Everything is 5 Stars! We love eating there and bringing guests. My picky daughter loves their fried rice and the chicken katsu. The miso soup is amazing. Our favorite rolls are the Aurora, Milky Way and the Orion Sushi.Staff is very friendly and helpful.“
“Fantastic local sushi place in RH. Attentive servers and a diverse menu. We got the shrimp tempura and veggie tempura- super crispy and golden yellow, yum yum and Las Vegas rolls- 10 pieces each and the presentation and taste were delicious. There’s no alcohol at the establishment but plenty of other refreshments to choose from. Would def recommend!“
“I finally stopped in here on a blistery January day to try something different for lunch this time around. It seems like most of the Sushi restaurants around here are either outrageously expensive, have limited hours, or both. Sushi King's open and doesn't charge a lot for what they serve, comparatively speaking. The place is small, but it appears some upgrades have been done since they moved in here. Large, clean tables along with a few other upgrades that make it more inviting. I was greeted immediately and told to sit down and a waitress would be with me shortly. I got to review the menu and it appears they have quite a few menu options to choose from. While I'm not the most well versed in Sushi, I've had enough that I know what I like. I ended up getting their lunch special for $10.95 which came with two rolls and miso soup. While I wasn't thrilled about the Miso soup coming out first, it actually worked out quite well in the end. The Sushi rolls I got looked and tasted absolutely fabulous and had all the fixings with it. Wasabi sauce, soy sauce on the table, along with ginger and proper chopsticks. My bill was about $11 after tax, and I was happy with everything here. Finally, actual sushi without an attitude from people around me, not terribly expensive and very good as well. Overall, I'd gladly return in the future for a lot more.“
“Great rolls, delicious appetizers! Best sushi in Michigan at the moment! The staff were very friendly and polite too. Carry out option was perfect, everything was ready within the time that the online order showed. The food was delicious!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would be going back soon to try out different rolls.“
“It was a nice, cozy place and staff was friendly. We ordered the chicken yaki udon, chicken omurice, and 4 rolls of sushi (california roll, kazoku roll, las vegas roll, square lake roll). Everything tasted great but our favorite was the las vegas, square lake roll, and the yaki udon.“
“We drove an hour and a half to Volcano Sushi (and the Great Lakes Comic Con) and were not disappointed. This was only our second time eating here and the sushi was as great as we remembered. And there was no wait for lunch. We had preferential treatment. Our waiter even looked up our previous visit (from 1 year ago) and told us what we had ordered. Love it!“
“First time customer and let me just say that this was the best Korean food I have ever had! Everything was fresh, the meat was juicy and tender, the spicy california roles were fresh, the fried hibachi puts Benihana rice to shame, like their food is incredible! You have a new repeat customer. Thank you ?“
“Just as good as I remember! The new restaurant has a great mix of the old decor and new. Everything was very clean. Staff is getting the hang of things, but to be honest they did a wonderful job for just opening. Aimee was wonderful. The sushi/fish is very fresh. I would highly recommend Little Tree!“
“Have been going here for years. I have travelled to many places around the world and had sushi, and Wow Sushi has one of the best authentic sushi I have had. The sushi is fresh and has consistent taste no matter what time and day I go. Love it! I always get the Troy roll, Michigan roll, eel roll and classic California or tempura shrimp roll.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Tempura appetizer, edamame, cucumber salad, seaweed salad, cucumber avocado sushi, sweet potato tempura sushiParking: Lots of great parking in the front of the restaurant“
“Reviewing on behalf of my wife. I'm not a seafood person so this place doesn't do much for me. My wife on the other had absolutely loves it. According to her, this is the closest she's found to the poke bowls she enjoys on our trips to Hawaii. The bowls are built with your choice of ingredients. Start with a base of rice, add your protein, veggies and toppings. She says everything is fresh and quite tasty.“
“We always love eating at Pokeworks. It is a fun, healthy meal where everyone gets exactly what they want. The staff is amazing, always kind smiling and makes us feel special. I don't know how they remember us and our orders. It is a great, fast, fun, healthy place to eat.“
“Love this restaurant. Have been coming here for 30 yrs. But please improve the way you deliver plum sauce/ hot mustard. The same open container with the same spoons should not be shared from table to table. We noticed after asking for plum sauce we received the condiments from the buffet that were then placed on the buffet after we were done with our meal (without changing the containers or spoons looking ready to be shared to the next table that requested). Quite disturbing.“
“My friends and I had a bad experience at a restaurant nearby and 220 ended up being right next to it so we decided to give it a try. They brought us in right away no matter how late and busy they were. Our server Jackson, was so nice and fun and made sure we had a good time!“
“Umai cafe is the perfect spot for lunch after a winter hike. The cafe is clean & cozy and the staff were very kind. The food was good and the chocolate avocado smoothie was decadent. The miso soup and potato salad taste fresh. The cafe has a projector to play video clips and gentle music to create a pleasant atmosphere. The cafe is tucked into the corner of a strip mall, and is situated next to a fitness studio that unfortunately has no soundproofing so for a portion of our visit the loud noise had a negative impact on the experience.I look forward to visiting again and love that there is a local spot for avocado smoothies and fresh onigiri.“
“This place is a good place to eat out atVegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options to choose fromKid-friendliness: My little brother was treated with respect and friendlinessDietary restrictions: They are very safe about everything“

“Absolutely love this place!! They have the best pho in all of metro Detroit. My usual is the beef slices and meatball pho, the portions are huge, and the ingredients are always fresh. Recently, I tried their crab rangoons and they were mmmm, will have to add them to my usual order from now “
“Small little shop in a plaza. There's only one booth to sit at, so this is prob best as a carry out but wow it was super good and the prices are very very fair. I got a combo 15 piece platter for like $8.99 and the Cali roll was super cheap too. I love places like this that don't price gouge just bc everyone else is. Sushi was good we ate every last drop. Owner or the guy working was very nice and showed you what he rang up before charging you. Definitely a hidden gem and we will be back soon!!!“
“So happy I found this place! The sushi is consistently fantastic. The presentation, the freshness, the price point, this is a perfect no frills cozy spot for take away or a date. I get the C4 sushi special that comes with 6 chef's choice sushi and a spicy tuna roll. I tried the mix soba last time I was there and it was delicious! If you're in the area, this sushi will not disappoint.“
“Always have a great experience here. Both sushi and hibachi have been great each time. Enjoy all the available selections for sushi. Staff have always been friendly, along with the wonderful service. Highly recommend this restaurant for either sushi or hibachi.“
“Such great food and service!, my family just came from there. I wish I got our waiter’s name he was so patient, kind and understanding when we couldn’t decide on the menu. He made the experience 10x easier for my family. The food was good as well “
“A hidden gem in our area was recommended to us. A small restaurant serving Japanese fare and spirits. Menus in Japanese and English. I had a chicken dish over rice that was generous in portion and superior in flavor. Our dining companions had an assortment of sushi selections served on 2 huge platters. Again, the sushi portions were large and flavorful. Service was pleasant, professional, and prompt. We will be back. I'd recommend Take Sushi to anyone wanting a quiet, Japanese meal in a cozy location with friends.Kid-friendliness: Children were treated with the same respect as the adults. The servers were as attentive as any I've seen anywhere we've dined.“
“Good flavor and fresh Sushi, with a good presentation. Placed the order over the phone, went over a couple questions and items prior to order. Got a pick up time as it was a fairly large order. Everything was ready at pickup and very supportive staff that took excellent care3 of us.“
“I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.“
“I had the customizable poke bowl. I asked for a recommendation on sauces from the young man who prepared the fish and it was delicious. He mixed a few different sauces and it was so good. I’m from Hawaii and have also lived in Japan for several years. I’ve eaten a lot of poke bowls on the mainland and this is easily one of the best poke bowls I’ve had outside of Hawaii. The fish tasted fresh and I love that they use vinegar sushi rice in the bowl instead of plain rice.“
“The best sushi in Michigan hands down. The fish is always fresh and the service is always good. I just wish that they had happy hour specials for the sake. The restaurant is a little small and weekends during dinner time it gets really crowded.“
“I love this place, and their sushi is one of the best in the zone. They have a big variety in their menus. We didn't have to wait to be sitting, and the service was really nice. We never have complaints, and I totally recommend this place to go with someone, or if you want to go alone, the place is amazing to enjoy the “
“This place is awesome! They are sooo nice and friendly when you enter, the food is super good. When you order Togo the food is still hot after 30+ min. The hibachi menue is great, chicken steak and shrimp 10/10! And their miso soup is perfect! last but not least, portion size is great for dine in and Togo! I drive 30 min both ways to get their food.“
“The price, quality and quantity were all very good. The service was horrendous but the rest of the pluses made up for the extremely slow service. What was most st disappointing was there were only 8 customers. I am typically pretty patient with restaurants due to workforce issues but this was just a really bad waitress. But they still get 5 stars.“
“The sushi is really good. Prices are fair and service is great. I’d like to see this place full of customers because the food deserves to be tasted by many others. I guess the place could use some updates and that’s why it isn’t attracting as much people. However, I’ve gone once and quite late, so that might be the reason it was almost empty.“
