“Went here for a little get together with friends and it was super cute. It’s a small little pace right on Main Street but super warm inviting atmosphere. It’s intimate and inviting. My go to drink is gin and tonic and here I their lavender gin & tonic. They distill their own spirits and have a large selection of freshly made syrup and mixers. I didn’t have the opportunity to stay long, but I would love to come back again and try some of their other concoctions.“

“Came to town to celebrate my cousin's upcoming wedding and I stopped here with her for some cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. “Mackenzie's Tavern is a wonderful local drinking and dining experience with something for everyone. The owner and staff are very friendly and efficient in their service. The tavern has a very extensive seafood menu towards the end of the week like Thursday and Friday and sometimes Wednesdays. The rest of the time the tavern has a very good bar food type menu featuring Burger or some such. The only day that the kitchen is not open is Sundays when you can bring in your own food or have it delivered. The tavern has a breakfast service that goes from opening till around lunch time and the omelettes are huge and fill you up. You can watch most local sports there and the tavern features an 85-in TV that is surprisingly large for the size of the tavern.“

“Great service and the food was delicious had a slim jim and a grilled hamberger with French fries. Our car broke down in there parking lot and the employees were so very helpful trying to help get it started before the tow truck came. We will definitely go back.“

“Tonight my husband and I enjoyed an excellent meal here. First of all I'd like to say that the Alaskan Halibut was heavenly. It truly was to die for. Compliments to Chef Parker. He's fantastic, but what really stood out to us was the impeccable service. Ashley was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond for us. “We just held a baby shower in the enclosed outdoor Patio at the Troy location, January 18th. Was worried it would be cold since it was in the low 20s outside and windy, but it was wonderful. Staff was wonderful to work with from all the pre-planning with Jenna through the entire staff at the Troy Location. Servers were very attentive to all the guests. Manager worked with us on how and when we wanted the appetizers served, followed by lunch and then dessert. It was a great location for the shower. It was like having it in our own backyard but with service and none of the cleanup! The fireplace with the chairs by it was a great place to display prizes for the guests and a great place for the new mom and dad to open the gifts with everyone being able to see. It was easy to walk around and talk to everyone. We will definitely recommend to our friends for future events.“

“Stopped here with my brother and his wife to enjoy a drink and snack while my nephew was at soccer practice. Had nice looking walk up seating at an outdoor counter along the windows of the restaurant. Televisions inside we're playing football highlights which is always great. Rated 4 stars instead of five for service because the menu had no prices for the beer or drinks available. Drink pictures did not necessarily match the menu, for instance, if you wanted a spicy margarita with jalapeno there was a picture of one, but nothing on the menu. We inquired about it and they said they could make any Margarita on the menu a spicy one, and add the jalapeno. This is fantastic but why not note this on the menu? They had a decent beer list on the menu but no prices, and did not say whether it was bottle or tap. Made selecting a beer more difficult than it should be. (Prices varied quite a bit, the server was able to find a printed piece of paper with prices after asking for several, but it didn't seem to
match the names or order on the menu exactly, but did give a general idea of prices... assumed tap beers were only those offered in 22 ounce size, menu did not specify. ) Once past the drink price/menu obstacles everything was great. Recommend the Barbacoa tacos! Beautiful day to have the outdoor seats and just walk up and order.“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

“We had the most amazing Easter brunch at Madam! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a festive vibe. The warmth and friendliness of the staff (management checked in repeatedly and server Rishikesh was perfect), the delicious food, gorgeous setting of the restaurant, and pictures with the Easter bunny made this a special and memorable holiday. Our party enjoyed short rib sandwiches, lobster rolls, crème brulee French toast, omelettes, eggs benedict and more!“
