“Came to town to celebrate my cousin's upcoming wedding and I stopped here with her for some cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. Drinks were super good, all the staff was friendly, and our server, Nick, was super fun and we enjoyed chatting with him! Thank you, Saint 1881 and staff. We had an amazing time :)“

“My husband and I went to Shift yesterday for dinner and it was fantastic. Scott and Matt provided great service. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I got 2 drinks (the color red and the espresso martini) and had the shift fries and lamb lollipops. My husband also ordered the filet tips and lamb lollipops. It was all excellent. We also happened to come during happy hour and they had live music. We will definitely be back for more.“

“We live nearby but had never visited MacKenzie Tavern until recently. Glad we did! The food is quite good, especially when Yamin is in the kitchen. Pasta dishes are always on point. Good gyro, too. Domestic beer prices are among the best I can find. I've seen some reviews that describe the place as "a bit of a dive." And your point is? It's nothing fancy but neither am I. Try it. “We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “Dinning in a family-friendly place.
It's unfortunate that they are only open until 3:00 pm daily for now.
The decor is elegant, giving the feeling of being in a first-class restaurant with a small bar area that could serve some very nice cocktails if you desire.
All that and yet, there were several well-mannered children present, and that indicates this is considered a family restaurant by the locals.
My waitress/bartendress, Richelle, was outstanding and on top of things.
I ordered the "OMG, BBQ Chicken Wrap" and a side of seasoned waffle fries.
At first, when I began to eat the wrap, I thought maybe ordered the plain chicken wrap because I wasn't tasting the BBQ flavor. I just think it would have been better if it had more BBQ sauce in it.
The seasoned waffle fries were not your usual seasoned flavor, but good, just the same.

P.S. That pickle spear looks a little lonely.
Maybe the presentation would look better with just 1 plate.“

“Unwined is a hidden gem in Shelby Township that you must stop in and see. A wide variety of wines that will satisfy any pallet at affordable prices along with some small plate options that will hold you over.. The little flat bread pizzas are the best in the business and they do many fun events each month that draws in a diverse crowd. Kurt, Diane, Mark, & Jill will take care of you and make you want to come back for more. We frequent Unwined often, and have never been disappointed!“

I feel bad I don’t remember the server’s name who was outside on the patio, but genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever had, and I worked in the industry for 10+ years. “Overall, the interior is very nice. The odd part is that some of the tables with the best view of the restaurant if you look one way also have a kitchen view if you look the other way. The tables are right next to a glass wall with the kitchen right on the other side. Who wants to look into a kitchen or have the kitchen workers literally standing over you at a nice restaurant? It's so odd because the restaurant is so nice otherwise. Hide the kitchen; don't make it a stage everyone can see. Other than that, the food is good and, if you turn your head the right way (away from the kitchen), the restaurant is really nice.“

“It’s like a quaint hideaway a distance from the norm. My spouse and I always enjoy the food options for a change of pace. When it’s busy, it can get a bit loud, only because of the high ceiling and space.
The food isn’t highly seasoned but tasty. I’ve had the fish tacos, warm grain bowl, and my husband enjoyed the chicken salad on a croissant.
The staff is always welcoming and attentive.
When I want a change of pace this is my go to place.
Oh, may I mention, they serve cocktails ? ❤️

“Service was excellent. Margarita was delicious if not slightly small. We had the taquitos dinner which was presented well in a fried basket shell with lettuce, pico and guacamole and to dip sour cream and queso. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. We also had the fish Baja tacos and they were also not dry and flavorful with pineapple on the pico was an unexpected added touch that was delicious. The Baja fish dinner came with perfectly cooked seasoned fries. We rode a quite a way to try a new Mexican restaurant and we're not disappointed. We will definitely be going again.“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

“We had an outstanding experience at Madam. I hosted a work dinner for ten people there on a Thursday night. It was a perfect venue, quiet enough for good conversation and everyone loved the food.

It was all delicious, from the appetizers (especially the beet salad) and entrees through dessert. Our server, Jodi, was very professional and gave great recommendations for dishes to share.

The meal was timed well, without lag time or feeling rushed. This is also an absolutely gorgeous place. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
