MERO MERO Reviews
Like being able to be outside in an indoor setting and the stools that are outside!
Came here for the first time since it always looks like a cute place when driving by. Probably won’t be back based on the other quality Mexican food so close by. Chips and salsa was okay, there’s better. I had three street tacos and they weren’t anything special, overstuffed, carne asada didn’t have much flavor and the fish taco I think was just frozen fish. MERO MERO is a restaurant that offers tasty and well-made food, with a variety of options for those with gluten allergies. The atmosphere is pleasant and can be a bit quiet in the winter, while the summer brings a fun energy. The dining room can get a bit loud, making conversation difficult. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are on top of things. Guests have found the chips to be fresh and the salsa to be really good, making it hard to resist. The restaurant also allows to-go drinks, making it convenient for a stroll downtown. The food, including the enchilada and tamale, has been praised as perfect during visits. The restaurant’s street corn - elote has been highlighted as a must-try dish. The restaurant is also known for its cute ambiance and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for both casual visits and quick stops. However, some may find the Queso tastes like boxed mac and cheese, and the bathroom lacks a baby changing table. Overall, MERO MERO offers above-average local Tex-Mex cuisine with friendly service, making it a good choice for a relaxed meal.
