Waterside Social Reviews
Great gathering place! Indoor and outdoor seating with lakeview. Food and service top notch.
The view by the water is great, the covered area is amazing outside even on cooler days. Summer they had a bee problem, but if bees dont bother you you'll be fine. Food is tasty and the accommodate special diets
The one thing that gave this place the fifth star was our server.
Unfortunately I cant remember her name but she's from the south of France and you cant miss her accent.
By far one of the best server I've ever encountered and I've worked in the restaurant industry my whole life.
The food wasn't bad but our perch was over cooked
the fig jam pizza was a little too sweet, it over powered the rest of the flavors.

Waterside Social is a restaurant with a great view by the water and an amazing covered area outside that works even on cooler days. In summer there was a bee problem, but if bees don't bother you, you'll be fine. The food is tasty and they accommodate special diets. The atmosphere is great, and the service stands out. One server from the south of France was by far one of the best servers ever encountered, and another server was extremely kind and very quick to check in even though she seemed busy. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating from the start, moving a party of eight from an outdoor table to a large indoor table when the weather turned and handling the transition very well. They also allowed a group to stay and visit after dinner and brought out a dessert with a candle for an 80th birthday. Some dishes disappointed: the perch was over cooked, the fig jam pizza was a little too sweet and overpowered the rest of the flavors, the French Dip was ok, the fries were very salty, the steak tips were soggy and flavorless, the Penne alla Vodka was runny and bland, and the Carbonara was so overcooked that the pasta fell apart. The bar appeared severely understocked, food service was slow, and parking was cramped and confusing. The mushroom quiche and strawberry shortcake French toast both tasted really good, though the quiche was very small. The mimosas were super small, but a bottle of champagne for $30 was a better option. The servers are the reason to return.
