We went to Bitter Tom’s for my birthday last night. Not only were the food & drinks amazing-especially the feta spinach dip. But the service was PHENOMENAL. Our waiter was Joe, he even joined us in eating the birthday cake we brought! And another waitress, Alyssa, was so friendly & helpful with my cake. She put it in the cooler, got candles for me, lit them, cut the cake, & helped box it back up. All without being asked or being our server. I was astounded. Perfect experience...read full review
We LOVED the Reuben eggs rolls. My husband and I shared them and it was filling enough to be a meal for us. We each had a happy hour drink and so for the two of us, our total bill was $22. Not bad! We also got to sit outside by the “waterfall”. Bitter Tom’s is a great local restaurant.

Bitter Tom's Distillery in Lake Orion offers a great dining experience with a wide selection of craft cocktails and an interesting menu. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious, catering to dietary restrictions. The cocktails showcase exceptional craftsmanship and quality, creating a quiet, romantic, and upscale ambiance. The atmosphere is always a pleasant place to eat and the staff is very kind and courteous.
The food is always excellent, with seasonal drinks like the Athena, which is described as a strawberry lemonade cosmo - pretty and tasty. The spinach feta dip is a must-try, and new favorites like the Butternut squash ginger soup have customers raving. The menu has a nice variety, with dishes that are fun, inspired, and cooked to perfection by the excellent kitchen staff. Dishes like the watermelon salad with shrimp are top notch and reasonably priced. Customers have been pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere, even when the indoor seating is not very large, as there are outdoor options available.
