Friday night, this was the only place with a decent crowd at 9:30PM. The bartender was quick, witty, and made one of the strongest Old Fashioneds I’ve had in a while! The burger was okay, but not quite amazing enough to justify the late-night calorie overload. And if you’re going to ask how I want my burger cooked, I’d appreciate actually getting it that way! 😄

I’ll probably be back for the drinks, though!

We are pretty regular at Bitter Tom’s but we felt disappointed at our last visit. Serving sizes were skimpy compared to usual (mostly mashed potatoes to cover the lack of meat on both entrees), my daughter’s meal was literally half its normal size and partly burnt, wine pour was light, chocolate milk came completely unmixed. Nice bar vibe. Good craft cocktails. Some of the food is good, some okay. Had a fly show up in one of our dishes once. I still come back because staff is friendly and the craft cocktails are legit.
