“Janel is an incredible Mixologist and Individual as a whole. Her creative vision from her art work, or her art and fresh, awe-aspiring, intrinsic cocktails she creates. The bar program alone is an experience no review could do justice, you’ll have to give yourself that pleasure. Don’t just take my word for it. The food, impressive design, indescribable ambience ~ EVERYTHING here is just so intentionally thought of and executed with clear passion. “This was my first time here on a weekend. Upon arriving the restaurant was a mix of sporty bar/ upscale grill vibes. I ordered the $40 lamb chops and green beans. Despite it being a typical weekend dine in, the service and workers were quick and professional. I must say the prices to fit the portions. My meal came with a cucumber, onion, and tomato salad, with a baked potato. That's 2 extra sides with a meal itself. Lastly, the atmosphere and environment was clean, trendy, and comfortable. It was a bit overstimulating with the big screen and multiple televisions. Like I mentioned, depending on the concept if you're there for a sporty, bar experience or more intimate setting. This restaurant gives a bit of both.“

“Went here for a little get together with friends and it was super cute. It’s a small little pace right on Main Street but super warm inviting atmosphere. It’s intimate and inviting. My go to drink is gin and tonic and here I their lavender gin & tonic. They distill their own spirits and have a large selection of freshly made syrup and mixers. I didn’t have the opportunity to stay long, but I would love to come back again and try some of their other concoctions.“

“Came here for my Wife’s Birthday and it was an amazing experience. Waitress and staff were extremely nice and friendly. They made my wife’s birthday feel extra special for her. The food was absolutely spectacular. We had gotten the Brisket Quesadilla and Turkey Sando as our main dishes. We had then gotten the Honk Kong French Toast as a dessert and it was all easily 5/5’s. Everything was delicious and made and cooked perfectly. Plenty of food for the price and amazing value and absolutely delicious. We’d easily recommend this place to anyone!“
“I planned ahead and made a reservation in advance on 12/3 for Thursday 12/18 at 745pm for 3 people at The Viridian Room. We specifically made this reservation through their Instagram/Resy. My two friends and I show up, and not only is the Viridian Room closed, but so is French Toast, despite their hours stating the close at 9pm. I tried calling to no avail, and ended up going to another Clawson bar, Local, instead. We were so excited to try this place and extremely disappointed we were not able to attend. Attached below is the confirmation of my reservation.
Edit 1/16/26: The manager had reached out to me via text and was kind and apologetic. She offered to reschedule the reservation and provide a free appetizer. My friends and I went back last night and had wonderful drinks and a snack! The bartenders were very kind and prompt. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making things right!“

“If you are contemplating where to dine…go here…you won’t be disappointed. Gabi and Gabriel are such gracious and hospitable owners of this diamond in the rough in hazel park. Service is 10/10. Their food…100/10. Their drinks are plentiful and their food is all authentic and homemade. Their Langos with garlic sauce is AMAZING…Honestly my wife and I have tried almost all of their staples (they also have rotating chef specials) and we have not found one thing that we don’t like. Their “from the woods” polenta is fantastic for vegetarians. There is something for everyone and once you go…you will keep going back for more.“

“Great atmosphere! There's a selection of board & card games to use while you're enjoying drinks and snacks. There are a few different seating options depending on your preference.
They have a wide range of flavors & options, and there is something for everyone. They have more than just wine...they also meads, beers, ciders & a small menu of flatbreads, snacks, and salads.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable and personable.

“My husband and I love going to Stray Cat Lounge for date nights—we’ve been there countless times! The live music is always so much fun, with a great variety of styles. They have an excellent drink selection, and I especially love ordering a chocolate martini from Nick, the bartender, who makes fantastic drinks. We also enjoy smoking cigars while we’re there.
The atmosphere is lively and fun, with cool cat-themed decorations that give the lounge a unique vibe. Whether it’s a date night or a night out with friends, I highly recommend Stray Cat Lounge!“

“I had a pleasant experience with this place. All of the food seemed fresh, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very vibrant.
The 2 times in which I went, our group sat outside, being that it was summer. They had trivia, which I assume is every Wednesday.
As for food, I got the caprese sandwich on the first occasion and the then the Tomato basil soup on the second. Both were good but the caprese sandwich was very good. While the menu is not huge, it does offer the basics and has a few healthier options, such as vegan dishes.
Overall, the atmosphere and food qualiy make this place worth checking out.“

“Valentine has been a staple in the community for years. Great products, carefully crafted - you can tell they really care about what they do! This is a destination point for anyone visiting the area. Make sure you stock up on bottles and merch to take home! Their cocktail list at Belle’s Lounge is top tier, as well. There’s a whole page of espresso martini variations for an affordable $13, plus a full multi-page menu of other cocktails made with their own products at really affordable prices for a distillery or craft cocktail bar. I’m shocked so many people are sleeping on this best kept neighborhood secret! Not to mention the number of weddings we’ve attended at Belle’s Lounge. Stunning event space built right in. If you haven’t been yet, this is your sign to go!!“

“We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

“White Wolf Japanese Patisserie is an absolute gem. Their pastries boast unique flavors that are a delightful departure from the ordinary. The Yuzu Cheesecake and Azuki Red Bean Paste Swiss Roll Cake are must-tries, bursting with authentic and refreshing tastes. The Matcha Latte and Raspberry Rose Yuzu are equally exceptional and perfect for a refreshing treat. The staff at White Wolf are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The female chef went above and beyond by offering us a sample of their delicious banana bread, which was a nice touch. It’s evident that everyone who works there is genuinely happy, and this joy is reflected in the quality of their products. “Came to town to celebrate my cousin's upcoming wedding and I stopped here with her for some cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. “Dude. We went here last night…AMAZING. Food was great. Drinks were great. Music was A VIBE. I feel bad I don’t remember the server’s name who was outside on the patio, but genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever had, and I worked in the industry for 10+ years. He made great recommendations, was running his butt off, and just overall did a great job. You guys keep doing exactly what you’re doing. We’ll definitely be back!!“

“Mackenzie's Tavern is a wonderful local drinking and dining experience with something for everyone. The owner and staff are very friendly and efficient in their service. The tavern has a very extensive seafood menu towards the end of the week like Thursday and Friday and sometimes Wednesdays. The rest of the time the tavern has a very good bar food type menu featuring Burger or some such. The only day that the kitchen is not open is Sundays when you can bring in your own food or have it delivered. The tavern has a breakfast service that goes from opening till around lunch time and the omelettes are huge and fill you up. You can watch most local sports there and the tavern features an 85-in TV that is surprisingly large for the size of the tavern.“
