The service is always good as it is a family owned business I assume the staff is expected to meet a certain criteria since it is a family's reputation at stake. The meals are prepared with a homestyle feel with nice sized portions. My daughter is a big fan of shrimp scampi and unfortunately she had to send it back last night as she said it had a soap taste. I expect this is a one off since we have dined here several times without incident and felt inclined not to mention it in this review but for the sake of transparency I decided to. This definitely would not cause hesitation on my part to return and I still completely recommend. On the other hand, my wife said it was the second best lamb shank she's ever had, the first being a $100 meal in Los Angeles so take that into consideration. Prices are reasonable and and there's good reason they have been in business 3 generation's.“

“Loved it here. I went with a work group. This was actually my second time here. First time was back in 2022 for a Christmas party. Anyway, We participated in a bar crawl on 2/17/24 for Jess. It was nice music. They also did a raffle! The service was fast. The place was packed. I kept ordering the grapefruit basil martini aka the duchess. It was really good. The staff was polite and useful. They had great wings also. I'll be back to try those loaded waffle fries one day lol.“

The variety of boozed stacked on the shelf behind the bar looked like a good assortment with high quality selections.So glad this place was still open and the kitchen was still serving take out orders and in house dining at this hour.Music was relaxed lounge and there’s about 4 large TVs in the space to watch sports. Outdoor patio seating is also provided with umbrellas.This place is a perfect size and we were pleased with the service and the food. Inside has about 35-40 seats including the bar.Will be back next time I’m in Shelby for some late eats. The menu really has everything you could want with a Good selection to choose from.“
