“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. Wine, was by the glass and was both red and white and light, semidry and elegant. Our perfect dinner ended the perfect evening. Thank you 220 Merrill for a wonderful 50th.“

“We hosted my toddlers birthday party here last month. We had an excellent experience. The food was ready right on time and delicious. We had multiple servers who were so attentive and kind. I don’t think anyone had an empty glass at any point. It was a Saturday evening with a packed bar and we couldn’t even tell in the side room. “Patti the cook! OMG! Saturday night, all by herself, no help what so ever! Our waitress said she COULD be behind because she’s on her own so our may take a little longer, we said no problem. That was not the case , we had our food in like 10 minutes! I sat at the bar and watched her do the job of about 3-4 people the rest of the night! She’s amazing! This woman deserves a raise for sure !“

“Unexpected excellence! Came in at 4pm on Friday, our efficient and friendly waiter Andy was taking care of at least 10 other tables-but made each customer feel well taken care of. The clam chowder soup was excellent, like from a fine seafood restaurant! The Cobb salad was presented beautifully, and I took about half of it home! “Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“I’ve never had authentic Cajun food in all my 43 years of existence until today. This food is SO GOOD that it was almost a religious experience. The gumbo is freaking FIRE. flavorful. Well seasoned. Perfectly cooked. They have the most delicious coleslaw I ever had and the grand finale is the Cajun angel pasta. Great portion size. Perfectly prepared. And they don’t skimp on the protein. It was all very well packaged and the best part is that it’s budget friendly when it comes to pricing. I was so in love with this food when I tasted it that I actually almost cried. My hat is off to the staff and the chefs. If you should ever close it will be a travesty. It’s like getting a taste of the N’Orleans life right here in Michigan. TAKE. MY. MONEY. (Sorry y'all I ate the gumbo and forgot to take a photo lol )“

“Took our first trip to this place just last night. Has a little bit of everything for those not looking to stay seated during dinner. Food took forever though and was decent. Waitress was a little lost with constantly asking our table of 6 what they ordered and whose drink went with whose order. Other than that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We played some cornhole, which was decently priced by the hour ($10). Plus they had classic arcade games, free to play like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger, and Donkey Kong along with 90’s classics like Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and House of the Dead. Plus over a dozen pinballs. Arcade area was a sight to see since most places now use carnival or ticket games. They also had a poker room which was full. Did not see any pool tables, darts or disc golf so not sure if those get removed during poker night. I’d consider coming back but not during their busier times. It was more than half capacity but id imagine an even further delay on food or your wait staff being really lost handling more than 20 orders at multiple tables. Either way I’d recommend it as long as you aren’t really hungry going in or don’t like huge crowds.“

Keno is coming soon. ? They have fish for Fridays. I’m hooked. ? I had the garden fresh pizza and it was fabulous. My girlfriend had the Guido burger and she said it was heaven. Met George, one of the owners and cooks, very friendly! Looking forward to my next visit here.“

“The most classic sports bar a sports bar can get. Some of the best pizza in town, some of the best wings in town, in the atmosphere is a classic sports bar. They even got the Jumbotron as a queer guy who likes sports And good food, This place is awesome.“

“Had an incredible dinner and great drinks tonight here. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing you could taste the freshness. We had burgers that were amazing the comes from an amazing local company the owner was telling us about. Chicken strips are amazing they were fresh not frozen and the bang bang shrimp were killer. Really enjoyed the owners story and passion for the place he was super hands on with everything. Everything that hit the table was very very impressive definitely a must try! Absolutely going back.“

“Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“This place is crazy good.
I got the hangover burger and some cheese sauce for my fries (I recommend dunking ur burger in it too omghhh).
The bacon has a super smokey flavor, the egg was perfectly runny, hash brown didn't get soggy, patties were cooked nice. I love the fries too, has a little sugar and balances out the salty.
I went home and slept for 3 hours so if you have plans after I wouldn't recommend it 😂.
Bloody Mary was good too, nice n peppery

“My friends and I went to this place because it was recommended by a co-worker and she also works there. So it was motown Monday so we all got some hamburgers . I added some mozzarella sticks and my other friend got jalapeno popper soup. I got to say the burgers were very mid unfortunately, they needed some seasoning, salt or pepper but nothing was there. But the appetizers were the standout, the mozzarella sticks were good and seasoned and the soup was good and flavorful. Our server Rachel was very attentive and a standout for the trip to this bar/restaurant. In all fairness she did recommend this.“

The next time I put together a big party, I'm thinking I'll be taking it to the Metro!! I only wish that they would make their cream of asparagus soup more often.
