“went there on a Monday. not busy at all whatsoever. there was only a bartender and a cook that seemed to be doing everything. the bar had majority of the people there so my group and I moved from our table to the bar and then we got our order taken. not a bad place at all just need to hire more people if they want to run a full restaurant, need to figure it out. The food was absolutely delicious it was fresh and perfectly cooked to order. Only complaint would be how long it took for our order to be taken but again there was only one guy in there doing everything!“

“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“Great place! As visitors to Detroit, we were welcomed and treated as if we were regulars that came in every day. A nice, straight forward place with good prices and new friends on both sides of the bar. Be careful of the Lot Lizard shots, though. ;)“

“We hosted my toddlers birthday party here last month. We had an excellent experience. The food was ready right on time and delicious. We had multiple servers who were so attentive and kind. I don’t think anyone had an empty glass at any point. It was a Saturday evening with a packed bar and we couldn’t even tell in the side room. “I went one time. Super chill bar, very friendly bartender who treated me like a regular. I went on a Sunday afternoon weekend at like 4 pm so there weren't too many people there, but those who were displayed an extreme of characters. The smoking area in the back had a lot of tables and easy access.“

“I’ve never had authentic Cajun food in all my 43 years of existence until today. This food is SO GOOD that it was almost a religious experience. The gumbo is freaking FIRE. flavorful. Well seasoned. Perfectly cooked. They have the most delicious coleslaw I ever had and the grand finale is the Cajun angel pasta. Great portion size. Perfectly prepared. And they don’t skimp on the protein. It was all very well packaged and the best part is that it’s budget friendly when it comes to pricing. I was so in love with this food when I tasted it that I actually almost cried. My hat is off to the staff and the chefs. If you should ever close it will be a travesty. It’s like getting a taste of the N’Orleans life right here in Michigan. TAKE. MY. MONEY. We had burgers that were amazing the comes from an amazing local company the owner was telling us about. Chicken strips are amazing they were fresh not frozen and the bang bang shrimp were killer. Texas Bar and grill is one of the rare places in Southeastern Michigan where people of differing backgrounds can drink, socialize, watch a game and have a great time. This is a very cool, and large sports bar with welcoming staff, decent prices and a wide variety of music.“

“My friends and I went to this place because it was recommended by a co-worker and she also works there. So it was motown Monday so we all got some hamburgers . I added some mozzarella sticks and my other friend got jalapeno popper soup. I got to say the burgers were very mid unfortunately, they needed some seasoning, salt or pepper but nothing was there. But the appetizers were the standout, the mozzarella sticks were good and seasoned and the soup was good and flavorful. Our server Rachel was very attentive and a standout for the trip to this bar/restaurant. In all fairness she did recommend this.“
