“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

The food was 10/10, service was prompt and everyone was very welcoming. Clean and well kept establishment, I will be back for sure to another green tea that was made to perfection.“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“I go here every Monday for open mic night. It is one of my favorite places to perform because of the fun atmosphere, the fantastic food, and the friendly folks who frequent it.“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“Great place! As visitors to Detroit, we were welcomed and treated as if we were regulars that came in every day. A nice, straight forward place with good prices and new friends on both sides of the bar. Be careful of the Lot Lizard shots, though. ;)“

“We hosted my toddlers birthday party here last month. We had an excellent experience. The food was ready right on time and delicious. We had multiple servers who were so attentive and kind. I don’t think anyone had an empty glass at any point. It was a Saturday evening with a packed bar and we couldn’t even tell in the side room. We will absolutely host another event there in the future!“

“Patti the cook! OMG! Saturday night, all by herself, no help what so ever! Our waitress said she COULD be behind because she’s on her own so our may take a little longer, we said no problem. That was not the case , we had our food in like 10 minutes! I sat at the bar and watched her do the job of about 3-4 people the rest of the night! She’s amazing! This woman deserves a raise for sure !“

“Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“The most classic sports bar a sports bar can get. Some of the best pizza in town, some of the best wings in town, in the atmosphere is a classic sports bar. They even got the Jumbotron as a queer guy who likes sports And good food, This place is awesome.“

“I went one time. Super chill bar, very friendly bartender who treated me like a regular. I went on a Sunday afternoon weekend at like 4 pm so there weren't too many people there, but those who were displayed an extreme of characters. The smoking area in the back had a lot of tables and easy access.“

“I’ve never had authentic Cajun food in all my 43 years of existence until today. This food is SO GOOD that it was almost a religious experience. The gumbo is freaking FIRE. flavorful. Well seasoned. Perfectly cooked. They have the most delicious coleslaw I ever had and the grand finale is the Cajun angel pasta. Great portion size. Perfectly prepared. And they don’t skimp on the protein. It was all very well packaged and the best part is that it’s budget friendly when it comes to pricing. I was so in love with this food when I tasted it that I actually almost cried. My hat is off to the staff and the chefs. If you should ever close it will be a travesty. It’s like getting a taste of the N’Orleans life right here in Michigan. TAKE. MY. MONEY. We had burgers that were amazing the comes from an amazing local company the owner was telling us about. Chicken strips are amazing they were fresh not frozen and the bang bang shrimp were killer.
