I go here every Monday for open mic night. It is one of my favorite places to perform because of the fun atmosphere, the fantastic food, and the friendly folks who frequent it.
Great place to hang out in Detroit. Friendly staff, good food, live music and fun venue with good people.
Great food options, plenty of seating, cute patio, great service, and they have a sizeable non-alcoholic (beer, canned drinks, hopwater) offering, which is pretty cool.

Lager House is a renowned restaurant known for its wonderful service and amazing food. The black and blue burger is a popular choice, often praised for its divine taste. The restaurant also offers a variety of draft beers, including its own Lager House brand. Aside from its bar food and ales, Lager House is also a popular spot for brunch, serving dishes such as shrimp and grits, and vegan biscuits and gravy.
The restaurant is a jewel of the Detroit entertainment scene, with top-notch bands from all over and many different genres performing on any given night. Fantastic beer selections from local, regional, and national producers are available. The food coming out of the kitchen looks and smells great, and the front yard, a recent addition, provides a nice view of bustling Corktown. Lager House offers ample parking, reasonable drink prices, and superb music, making it a great place for a meal and entertainment. It is a great neighborhood spot, and people there were very friendly. It is a tiny little place that is buzzing with energy, in terms of when it's being utilized for shows! They have so many non-alcoholic options. The staff were helpful when needed.
