“Amazing! The steaks are top notch and the seafood may be the best in the state! Easily the best service in the city to top it off!”
“We dined here prior to seeing a show at the Fisher. From the minute we walked in we were so Impressed. The staff at the door were super friendly and took us directly to our seats. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, and the food was amazing. We cannot wait to go back. We highly recommend!”
“Gluten free pizza! Atmosphere was great on the bar side but loud and not great in the room to the right. Good service even when busy. Gluten free pizza could have been cooked longer, a little bready but toppings tasty.”

“GRACE is an amazing server, great at suggestions she is personable and delightful. The food was everything her recommendations on food and beverages did not miss‼️”
“Sooooo good! Just had dinner tonight and can honestly say the food and service NEVER disappoints!”
“I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Alpino because my husband and I love this place so much! It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.”

“This was the best cooking class my friends and I have ever taken. Erica made making pierogi seem easy and like something we could actually do at home. The class was well structured and easy to follow along with. We were given time to practice and learn while Erica was there to also ensure that everyone went home happy and with at least 2 dozen delicious pierogi! We are excited to hopefully take more classes here soon!”
“Absolutely delicious 🖤 Go now!!”
“Last night we made a pilgrimage to Detroit for one reason only, to visit TAKOI. We had the 6 course chef’s choice menu (plus another few courses on the house). I had very high expectations, but the staff and food managed to exceed them. If anyone is ever in downtown Detroit. You MUST try Takoi!🍜🍲”

“Wow. What an absolutely fantastic final dinner of 2023! After we managed to find a late dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, it was a relief to discover that our excitement about the tasting menu was well-placed. I would definitely recommend the drink pairings as well! The amuse-bouche featuring oysters from the West and East coasts was a delightful way to splash into the meal. The wasabi and the mangosteen featured in each of the oysters, respectively, complimented the beautiful brine of the oysters in such a wonderfully playful way. This first tasting urged us to pause the menu progression and order an extra dozen oysters to explore the other possibilities. Tasting from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, they were beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The first course of lobster salad felt like a summer in Maine. Not that I've ever been to Maine, but the imaginary scene flashed across my vision as I took that first refreshing bite. The grapefruit emulsion worked almost majestically with the light, refreshing flavor of the lobster salad. The tapioca chip was perfect for the crunch to fully bring the different elements of the dish together. A fascinating intersection of refreshment and comfort. The second course was the potato pavé. I'll be thinking of this potato often for the foreseeable future. It was one of those dishes that makes your eyes pop open a bit when you bite it as you realize how good it is. A beautifully layered and seared rectangle of flaky delicious potato resting with a lovely salsa brava speckled with trout roe, topped with tarragon, cured trout, and black truffle flakes. I don't even know what else to say. It was stunning. Sea urchin buttered ramen, the third course, will always be what I wish my at-home thrown-together ramen could be. It was rich, it was luscious, it was comforting. Growing up in southeast Texas, crawfish boils were always some of the most exciting times of the year. The crawfish tails in the ramen brought me back to those summer days eating crawfish with a cold beer. The duck breast for the fourth course was exceptionally cooked. It was juicy and flavorful and made a perfect bite with a bit of cauliflower, raisins, apricot, agrodolce, and foie-sauce. Each bite was such a symphony of flavor that kept me coming back. Last but absolutely not least was the gâteau ardéchois: the chestnut cream cake. Accompanied by cranberry coulis and crispy meringue bites, this dessert was a sweet but still mellow finish. While the coffee mascarpone ice cream was a robust and complementary flavor, we both agreed the vanilla coconut ice cream was the star between the two. Thank you again to the stellar crew at Mink! Happy New Year!”
“Gentlemen, my day started out with getting a different car for a friend today, and then checking to see if my mom's house that she grew up in is still on 51 LeBlanc, River Rouge, unfortunately it's no longer standing, so we finished by stopping by for a Lafayette Coney Special, It was the Best Coney Dog and the Service was Awesome, God Bless You All & Thank You, & May Your Business that has been around since 1914, have many more years, Therefore if anyone is traveling through Detroit, MI, make sure you Stop By & Get Yourself a Lafayette Coney Island Special, You Won't Be Disappointed.”

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.”
“We had an excellent time at Bar Pigelle. Our waitress, Jaina, was wonderful! My partner has a sensitivity to cured meats and she made sure the prosciutto on the grilled peaches was on the side to accommodate him. The food was excellent and its arrival timed perfectly. The free parking lot across the street was also a great offering as parking nearby can get full quick. We got the grilled peaches, the smashburger, the steak frites, and chocolate mousse. I’d recommend splitting the steak frites (it’s a 14 oz!) and getting some additional small plates/appetizers to compliment/round out the meal. Their mocktails are also fantastic. We are looking forward to coming back soon!”
“Really enjoyed our visit here! We were seated right away, and our food and drinks arrived quickly without any long waits. We started with the calamari, which was fresh and nicely prepared, although I think it could have used a more flavorful dipping sauce. The steak frites were the real highlight—the steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Overall, it was a smooth, relaxed dining experience with good food and quick service. I’d definitely come back again.”
“GB’s is my #1 spot for vegan options. They also offer gluten free dough—and they’ve done a fabulous job recreating it people like me who have issues consuming gluten. The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. The variety of pizza options are many to choose from. And the staff are really personable & quick with service & a smile. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“If you're in Detroit and you're a foodie like I am, Vecino is not to be missed. This was truly one of the best experiences I've had a restaurant from top to the bottom! The ambiance, the music was fantastic, the food was soo flavorful and just sublime, and Molly the bartender just killed it! Molly was fantastic, she was super genuine and friendly, attentive, and she even gave me a recommendation for a cool wine bar the next night. Highly highly recommend Vecino its fantastic!”

“Amazing food! So great, no matter what i write here could surmount to the generations old technique applied here. Simple. Nothing over the top. No gimmicks, AT ALL. A surprising lack of gimmicks, is very inviting, along with the prices! Which if you’re one your way home from a night on the town, and seeing those stadium prices. Its like a step back in time. When everything was simpler and made more sense. God bless Telway!”
“After reading several reviews, it left me hesitant about going to Iridescene, however I'm glad that I did not let that deter me. Everything we ordered, from the wine and dine menu was delicious. The chicken breast was tender enough to cut with a fork. And the mashed potatoes were very tasty and well seasoned. I would recommend this place.”
“Support small business! Honestly being the foodie, hospitality enthusiast that I am... I highly recommend this restaurant the owner who’s also the server was amazing her daughter(about 8) was her helper and it was amazing. The food was ideally seasoned and you get the feel of the “D” with this experience. The menu was also well priced and the meal size was great. The plantain rum dip was to die for. Not to mention, proper social distancing efforts, available hand sanitizer and for you smokers... ashtray and ability to do so. I loved it and enjoyed myself. Looking forward to my next Detroit visit where I visit the Alley Deck.”
“I recently had a great experience at a Subway location on Woodward, near Wayne State University. As someone who enjoys chicken, I was really impressed with the quality and taste of their chicken sandwiches—they were fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like. Another highlight for me was their cookies, which were soft, delicious, and the perfect treat to go along with my meal.
What made the visit even better was the friendly and respectful behavior of the employees. They were attentive, quick with service, and made sure my order was exactly right. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the food and the service, and this Subway has definitely become one of my go-to spots in the area.😋”
“The food is always hot, done right, and tastes good. The drive thru service is accurate, polite and professional. And the service is very fast. And I always get the right amount of change back, and my card transactions are always accurate. I noticed that the lot and property is always clean, neat and picked up. I bet the manager leads by example. Oh,...and the fish nibbles are very good..!!!”
“The crew that worked at this Henry Ford location on: April 14, 2026 around 2 pm was GREAT! I was having a low blood sugar reaction and they helped me immediately when I told them. I requested an oatmeal raisin cookie and cup for a drink until I could order my sandwich. Tanijha gave me the cookie and cup immediately. When it was my turn to order my sandwich Mimi and Malcolm worked very well together to get my sandwich to me expeditiously due to my low blood sugar. All this happened during a very busy time for them; however, they worked together to get me and my blood sugar together! 😊 I want each of them to know that I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart. I tried to call to speak with their manager Angela the next day, to compliment them, but the phone just rang, then cut off. God BLESS and kudos to each of them for a JOB WELL DONE!

“Great vibes!! The corn chowder soup is delicious, and I highly recommend the buffalo chicken wontons. So good! Definitely recommend checking this place out”

“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!”
“Buddy's Who? What they lack in overall restaurant space. They make it up with EXCELLENT engaging customer service. Fresh ingredients and great food. I've been three times they've hit the mall each time. When you stay open until you sell out, you've got a winner. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures from anticipation. We had the waffle fries, roasted carrots with goat cheese, hot wings and two different pizzas.I don't eat pork, so having a beef pepperoni option was clutch! Everything was delicious, the roasted carrots were a present surprise. Our servers were extra attentive and helpful.”
“Dinner at Le Supreme in Detroit was phenomenal! Delicious food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Never disappointed with anything I’ve ever had there and every time I bring someone to try it they absolutely love it.”
“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!”

“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. A very clean take-out only place, with good food and a very friendly staff.”
“My son and I loved the food! It was delicious and fresh. It tasted like homemade. I am originally from the Caribbean, I felt like I was back home. Asty came by our table to greet us. He and the staff were very welcoming. It was worth the drive! We will definitely come back!”
“We planned on trying a few other pasta spots for Valentine’s Day, but everything was booked solid. Ended up giving the new kid on the block, Oak & Reel, a shot—and I’m glad we did. The veal-stuffed ravioli was unreal. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert—it’s non-negotiable. And the Banana Run cocktail? Dangerously good.”
“I just spent a week drinking through some of the best cocktail bars in Tel Aviv and was reminded how none of them come even close to the amazing cocktails that the Kevin, Kyle, and the rest of the Castalia team come up with! Each visit to Castalia, be it your first or one thousandth, is magical and wonderful!”
“(July 2026). First off, a big thank you to our server Jah'Qwan. He was just fantastic and really made our anniversary dinner extremely enjoyable. This was our first time dining at the Cactus Club. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best for an intimate dining experience - quaint, quiet, and a soft piano player. Very very nice. The lighting was perfect (we sometimes have a hard time seeing the menu since we are getting older :).
My wife had a 1/2 dozen west-coast oysters for an appetizer - they were just outstanding. She ordered the Veal with Risotto (it was good but definitely a shared dish as it was a large portion).
I had the Filet Mignon - cooked and seasoned perfectly!
The star of the dinner was definitely the asparagus - I know, weird, but this asparagus was probably the best I've eaten in a very long time, hands-down.
For dessert we had the Chocolate Torte - fabulous! We compared this to the torte we had at Bobby Flays' restaurant Amalfi in Las Vegas, and it was just better.
Overall, our anniversary dinner was one of the best. Accolades to Jah'Qwan, the cooking staff, and the young lady who makes the desserts. Thank you!”
“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Thank you for a dreamy night.”

“Todd was an excellent server who went above and beyond for our family. He was very friendly and attentive to our wants and needs. We greatly appreciated his service and his friendly attitude. He was able to make our celebratory meal a wonderful experience. Thank you, Todd”
“I can’t say enough about our dining experience! This restaurant is on my TOP list here in Nashville and I will now frequent. Everything from start to finish was superb! Our waiter Sid was nothing g more than AMAZING and the manager was very nice and came by to say hello! The FOOOOOD was SO good it’s definitely worth it!!”
“Best restaurant in Detroit Metro airport sit at the bar for first class service!”

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”
“Came here after a not so great experience across the street.
Here’s what we got:
Sun-dried tomato and basil cheese tart, warmed up with the cheese becoming gooey
Cinnamon roll croissant also warmed up, delicious
I docked 1 star for the unkind behavior of the brunette ponytailed barista. We bought an unhoused gentleman a coffee. He was with a walker and could hardly move. When the barista brought out his coffee, he asked her for cold water. She looked at him in disgust and walked away. I gave her a few mins to bring the water. When I realized she wasn’t going to, I walked over and demanded she give him the water. It was a hot, humid day. We already paid for his drink, it really didn’t need to go like that.
Besides that, all the cashiers were friendly and knowledgeable.”
“shoutout to pie sci! I'm in the area for a rack inspection and was looking for an early lunch. now I'm not ashamed to tell you I'm a pizza snob, I spent 29+ years eating pizza from NY & NJ. This pizza reminded quite a bit of the old Sicilian slices i used to get at my childhood pizza shop. keep up the great work and the great food. thank you for a great meal!”

“Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.”
“I like to thank the staff at Andiamo especially Thelma who was our server.. Also, thank you Mike for stopping by to see if everything was good. Im glad that we had chosen that location to celebrate Rosalyn birthday”

“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. Now let me tell you, they moved mountains to host our celebration. The food was incredible and the warm hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you thank you thank you for today! Cheers 🍸 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Fantastic restaurant in the heart of the city in a beautiful, historical building. Ostrea is a trendy, upscale hotspot with a NYC vibe with a creative menu that you cannot find anywhere else in SE Michigan. Dress up and get ready for a great experience”
“Great vibe. Cozy atmosphere. Fresh ingredients. Delish cocktails. Excellent service. Need I say more?”
“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.”
“Fast service, great space with parking right out the front door! Might be the best fries I’ve ever eaten in my life, and super tasty olive dip. My husband had the vegan buffalo chicken sandwich and raved how good it was. Will be back next time we are in town.”
“OMG! Celebrated my birthday here with 8 friends and all of us were blown away by how delicious everything was. Favorites were the Pulled Pork(that mango slaw!), the Best Snack Ever ,and the Churros!”
“The service is wonderful; they will take care of you and your guest(s). It is sure to be a cozy evening of fine dining.”
“Excellent food. Just so impressed! We came in on a Sunday evening with a 3 and 1 year old and sat outside on the back patio. We got the Sunday roast special that came with a fois gras appetizer, whole chicken (different from the menu chicken), and an olive oil cake. In addition to that since we had 5 people and 2 little ones, we also got the sourdough bread and the croquetas de jamon. Every single food item was DELICIOUS. The croquetas were so unique and less heavy than normal croquettes. The dry aged steak was 30oz and fed all of us alongside the Sunday chicken special, which was a whole chicken. Both were perfectly cooked, the steak rub was great. The chicken was as perfectly tender. Keep in mind because of the size of the steak, it did take almost an hour to arrive. My only complaint is that there were actually a lot of young kids and even babies out on the back patio, but they have no high chairs or booster seats or kids cups for water. They do however have a grassy area that the kids walked around in while we waited for the food. As for the wine, they of course have a huge selection from all over the world and the recommendations from the server were great, both $80 each. Wish we’d gotten the servers name, but I missed it. She was lovely though!”
“Been here a few times and it is one of my favorite places to visit in Detroit. The drinks and food rotate and every time I go I find a new favorite!”
“My son, who's moving to SanDiego, treated me there. He's been several times. Ambience, service, dinner and dessert were all excellent. Coffee was pretty darn good too. Can't go wrong!”
“I visited this past Valentine’s Day weekend and visited again this past Saturday night. I didn’t have a reservation but still got seated very quickly. It was a hot, muggy night and the hostess said she had a seat on the patio which I was fine with. I had a magnificent server, Florence, who was kind, thoughtful to recommend a drink to the person I was with and even when our drinks were brought out within a short time, apologized for the delay (which wasn’t necessary). I wish I could give a review on the party next to us because they were extremely rude, not only not giving consideration to others being on the patio but were also incredibly rude to Florence. One woman in particular was grandstanding in front of this group and demanded to speak to a manager. Florence and the Manager were both composed and dignified in spite of a rude patron that was looking to get her bill comped (for a party of nearly a dozen people) going so far as to threatening to have everyone at her table write a terrible review. I have worked in the service industry and so have so many people I know and love so this situation had me worked up and I felt it necessary to write a review that our experience was magnificent. Don’t be an a-hole to servers of any kind just because you’re an a-hole yourself. If you give respect, you get respect. Go to The Sugar House. Be a good customer.”
“I tried Vicente’s Cuban Restaurant in Detroit last weekend before a Tigers game and it did not disappoint! A lot of restaurants downtown were either closed or had long waits, so I decided to give Vicente’s a try and I’m glad I did. The staff was very friendly, the food came out quickly, and the Pan Con Bistec was amazing. Shoutout to our server Abraham for being so accommodating. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re downtown Detroit!”
“This place is a complete culinary delight. I love the atmosphere, the sharable menu options and selection, and the amazing staff. If you want a truly unforgettable experience, try the chef’s table! Five stars every single time we’ve gone!”
“Enjoyed a beer flight to get acquainted with their selection and style. Normally I don't gravitate towards lagers but their Fly Life was something special. Great staff, Monique was friendly and knowledgeable. Huge patio - worth a visit if youre in Corktown”
“Great service. Great food. We had the sausage/cheese platter, and their pretzels. Pretty tolerant of two Kentucky boys who hit the beer pretty hard the two nights we dropped in. The place had a good crowd both nights. Nice little pub. If I'm ever up that way again, it'll be one of my first stops.”
“From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm, friendly, and fun, making it the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. On top of that, the location is fantastic, with plenty of activities nearby to enjoy before or after your meal, which really added to the overall experience. The highlight of our visit, however, was our waitress, Ashley W. She went above and beyond in every way. Ashley anticipated our every need before we even had to ask, showing an attentiveness that is rare to find. She was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering so much easier and more enjoyable. Her positive energy and genuine care turned what was already a great dining experience into something truly memorable. Ashley is, without a doubt, the main reason my family and I plan to return. Her service left such a lasting impression on us that we would gladly make the trip back to Michigan just to eat here again. It is rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work and makes every guest feel special, but Ashley did exactly that. She is an absolute asset to this restaurant, and we cannot thank her enough for making our visit exceptional.”
“The service is wonderful; they will take care of you and your guest(s). It is sure to be a cozy evening of fine dining.”
“Such a cool, historic spot in downtown Detroit! The architecture is amazing, and the food matches the vibe. We tried the chicken and waffles, Grand Pub burger, and the corned beef sandwich. Everything was so good and cooked perfectly. Will absolutely be back!”
“Amazing Brunch on the weekend. Will go back everyone on staff were amazing. Great service.”
“Delicious homemade food… wonderful staff open air tables. Great service!”
“Best place in Detroit and metropolitan area. A true dining experience. Not to be be missed.”
“TRAP Vegan is a fantastic spot for anyone craving flavorful, plant-based comfort food in Detroit. The menu is creative and packed with satisfying options that show just how exciting vegan cuisine can be. Whether you're a longtime vegan or simply curious about trying more plant-based meals, there's something here to enjoy. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared. I also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the passion behind the food. It's always exciting to support restaurants that make vegan dining both approachable and memorable. If you're in the Detroit area and looking for delicious vegan comfort food, TRAP Vegan is definitely worth a visit. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu!”
“Amazing food and great presentation overall! 10/10 recommend getting a sushi boat with larger parties. Every roll on that menu is delicious 😌”
“We’ll be back. Everything was delicious. Great food and service.”
“Brewery Faisan is a pretty cool place. It’s located in a renovated industrial type of building, and the space across the street is all green space now. It’s like a little island in a somewhat worn down area. The interior is very comfortable with plenty of tables and a bar, and the atmosphere is relaxed with lots of light wood tones. There is some outdoor seating too, but the inside sounded better on my visit. Their beer selection had something for all palates, and I tried a little bit of their tripel and their Italian pils. Both were good and had no off flavors, so I was happy with the beer. I bought several cans to go, and I was thrilled to find out you can buy singles, so it’s easy to sample a lot. The King Eider Belgian dubbel was my favorite so far, and it’s a very drinkable version of that style. You should definitely give this brewery a try if you’re able to.”
“Magandang araw, gusto ka naming bayaran para sa paglalagay ng aming mga nilalaman sa iyong pahina! Babayaran ka namin kada linggo ng 7000$. Ang aming mga tatak ay Nestle, Nike, Puma at Nissan, ipaalam mo sa akin kung interesado ka.”
“New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! Highly recommend everything I got and the service was perfect, I mean like I finished my water and by the time my glass hit the table it was refilled. This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere inside, I personally love plants and that’s the first thing you notice when you walk in the door. Check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!”
“I wanted my family and I to try a new & special place to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and this place was amazing. Beautifully plated, ultra-delicious, special flare, authentic food. Kind & friendly staff. Cool atmosphere, family friendly. Easy parking. Proud that this place represents our Mexican heritage. No gimmicks, everything about this place made me feel like I actually was in a modern day restaurant in Mexico.”
“Tommy is the best and the food is great! Here from NC for work and discovered Tommy’s”
“Excellent service, delicious food and it all happened under the red lighting. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking lot only has 6 or 7 parking spot.”
“I was visiting the area from Ohio and was looking for something halal and I ran across this place. I ordered a build your own bowl with rice and lamb. Added onions, peppers, mushroom, broccoli and cilantro, with the spicy garlic sauce and teriyaki. The food was 🔥. Lamb was tender and seasoned very well. Rice was cooked perfectly and the vegetables I added were grilled great, done but aldente. I went back again before I left. The brother who took my order both times was really courteous and had a good attitude. It's a must try if your visiting the D.”
“we have been stopping in for drinks for a while now before we go to concerts and the theater.. we love your bartender, we love our drinks and the pizza to boot! we love sitting at the back of the bar and sometimes on the couch playing a few games!”
“We stopped here for lunch to try something different. We tried several items on the menu. The samosas were excellent. The eggplant dish and the chicken marsala were also very good. The fish, not so much. We felt that the ingredient to sauce ratio was off. There was not a lot of protein in any of the dishes. The naan was good too. Lunch for 6 with 3 drinks and 2 coffees, was 220.00. So, very expensy. The atmosphere is neat and there's a pool table.nservice was pretty good too. I would go again. I forgot to take pictures 🫤”
“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a party venue, or just a dinner out to come eat here!! 5 stars!!!!!!”
“This is a must try restaurant. Service here was immaculate. Food is extraordinary. This was not my first time here but I definitely had to double back and they did not disappoint at all. The sake slushie is a must try. I will be back and im telling everyone I know”
“Love this spot!
Huge shoutout to Katelyn for telling me about The Royce! I stopped in recently and fell in love with the space. They have a massive selection of unique wines, delicious small plates, and a super relaxed, welcoming energy. Certainly recommend checking it out!”
“Bday dinner party, I had the fried chicken, greens, amd mac/cheese.”
“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.”
“Great experience at zuzu tonight. Food, atmosphere, and staff were all outstanding.”
“An absolute gem in Southwest Detroit! Went tonight with a party of six for my nephews birthday. Everyone raved about their meals. Hearty portions and reasonable prices! The service was 5⭐️.”
“I go here every Monday for open mic night. It is one of my favorite places to perform because of the fun atmosphere, the fantastic food, and the friendly folks who frequent it.”
“Went on a Saturday night because my partner heard they had live music. I thought it was weird that the live music was not advertised on website or social media. Musicians were fantastic, playing instrumental jazz versions of popular tunes. What I hadn't realized is that the musicians would be across the street from the restaurant. It looks like they have a bar setup in the music area but it was closed.
We both got a soft serve margarita and plant based tacos. Margarita was tasty, light on the booze. The tacos were INCREDIBLE, we are still talking about them days later. We did both feel that the serving size of 2 tacos seemed small for the price and small for a dinner since no side dish is included but the taste was spot on and we appreciate that the menu had several plant based options.”
“We really enjoyed our brunch. The staff was great and the sweetest people. I loved the Jammie eggs and the preserves.”
“Wow for my first time in this restaurant, for my order the food is so amazing, delicious, good job”
“Not only is the food great, but the service is amazing! Jess always goes above and beyond to make sure im always happy! I recommend the 1529 IPA as well! Happy hour is awesome!”
“I recommend the Shrimp and Grits! Miguel made this a great experience!!”
“Got mac and cheese and ribs for an event and now everyone wants it fast service Best food in Detroit.”
“The food and service was excellent!!! The stuffed salmon is a must!! The bartender customer service was impeccable.”
“I had a fantastic experience at Whatcha Wanna Eat Food Hall. The variety of food options made it easy for everyone in my group to find something they loved. I tried a couple of different dishes, and each one was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The seating area was clean, comfortable, and had a fun atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The staff at every counter were welcoming and provided excellent service with a smile. It's the perfect place whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or meeting friends for dinner. I'll definitely be returning to Whatcha Wanna Eat Food Hall and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience.”
“Couch cushions severely stained. Place needs a deep clean otherwise perfect location 🫡
Watch where you sit 😳
That ain’t gravy playboy 🤨”
“My husband and I love this place , been here twice and great food, servers , atmosphere. Just a wonderful place .”
“I highly recommend!!!!! We have visited a few times and never regret it. A small, welcoming space with big personality and delicious food and drinks (the espresso martini is my fave). I come for the vegan options so I don’t have to worry about my food allergies, but my family has enjoyed the non-vegan options as well. The environment is fun; Que is always wonderful to talk with and has so much to be proud of in what she has created here…and if you didn’t know - THEY ALSO CATER…and do cooking classes!!! Que’s daughter Kaitlin is great and I enjoy talking with her as well. We’ve been in for live dj and a loud, fun, diverse group of people. I love what Que’s got cooking here and she’s got a faithful customer for life! Happy to support her with my dollars and my words of encouragement and recommendations to others!”
“We held a 50th birthday party for our daughter in the private room last Saturday evening. The service and the food was extraordinary. We had 50 attendees that included old and not so old. The banquet items were outstanding and the chef did a marvelous job of preparation and presentation. Passed appetizers were a hit with everyone. (I particularly liked the crab cakes) Sheila, Yen, Rex, and Kat provided the beverage service and passed the appetizers and drink orders with smiles and efficiency. While we didn't see much of the kitchen staff, Gil, Emeka, Chaona, and Aaron provided culinary treats that had all the attendees marveling at the variety and taste. And most helpful were Joanna and Paul, the proprietors. Thank you Common Pub for a most memorable evening and event!”
“We had a great dinner date at Hamiltons after a reservation was cancelled on us, it was our first time and we will be back!”

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.”
“Food was great. But since I had never been here before and am 74 years old, I wanted to be prepared. I went online before hand to look at the menu and saw several things that peaked my interest. Lo and behold, when we arrived before the MJ concert the menu was very different. Please update!!!”

“If you're looking for a culinary adventure, try Saffron De Twah, a Morcoccoan restaurant on the east side of Detroit. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! Even more wonderful than the food is Chef/Owner Omar's hospitality & generousity!!! One of his core values is giving back to the commuity through the Saffron Community Kitchen and his YouTube presentations. Did I mention he is a James Beard finalist? I will return again & again. My only regret is I did not take photos.”

“I went to this coffee shop for the first time and instantly loved the classy, clean, and local vibe of it! What was even better was that this Black-owned shop delivered in good service and outstanding quality and great varieties of coffee and teas! I had the delicious salted caramel latte!! And the best part was LITERALLY THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I have ever had at a coffee shop!! I had the turkey and cheese deluxe sandwich with their house sauce and Swiss cheese! It amazed me of how fresh, soft, and lightly sweet the croissant bread was, and how delightfully flavorful the rest of the sandwich was!! I gotta go back!!”

“TSA and Delta agents are always so kind. We’ve had some pretty negative experiences with TSA being rude, impatient, and condescending for no reason at various airports, but never at DTW! Thank you for making the stress of traveling less stressful!”
“Everything about our visit was awful. from first being seated, to terrible service, to them not coming over to our table with different meats, to the meats that we did get being dry and over cooked, to other guests being rude to us. if you go never go to the Detroit location. 100% not worth your time or money.”
“The service was great, but there was a delay in coming to take our order, but our waiter, Roland, was fantastic after he was able to eventually engage us. The salmon bites were cooked very well, but weren't seasoned as well. Our entrées were good, but I didn't care for the cocktail that I had. The ambience was a lovely. ”
“The food we ordered was absolutely delicious, even the cornbread that we had to force ourselves to stop eating lol! The service and vibe was great as well. The only thing I didn’t like was walking up the stairs to the dinning area. I want to bring my in laws but they don’t do stairs and if I recall, it’s like 2 flights. Also, as we were walking up the staircase, we encountered an unpleasant musty smell. I plan to return because the food was that good but I hope the smell will be taken care of by then.”
“Todd was an excellent server who went above and beyond for our family. He was very friendly and attentive to our wants and needs. We greatly appreciated his service and his friendly attitude. He was able to make our celebratory meal a wonderful experience. Thank you, Todd”
“My sister and had dinner out the 1st time since the pandemic. The food was delivered very quickly and was very hot and so tasty. I was such a pleasure experience. She had Jumbo Fried Shrimp w/mixed veggies and roasted potatoes. I had Catfish Atchafalaya (fried) w/rice and roasted potatoes. The rolls were hot and delicious. The waitress, Braylen, was so very pleasant and smiled continuously. Her service was the cherry on top of a beautiful meal.”

“Customer service phenomenal! We arrived on Sunday a bit Past 12 and it was slammed . Our first time here but were informed that they had open seating on the bar area which looked into the street . We took it otherwise it was by reservation, so we lucked out .
I had the grits , they were great :) . So was my salmon omlett .their bacon is beef ! We had never had that before and it was delish. Highly recommend it .”
“Went down the day of the parade. Bus dropped us off close to the brewery so this was our first stop. It was so yummy this was also our last stop before getting back on bus! Even our friends who are not beer drinkers enjoyed them for sure. The Beach Bus is my favorite! Can't wait to go back”
“Fantastic coffee & we so appreciate that you’re nut free! My teenage daughter has severe peanut & tree nut allergies and it’s very rare to find a place where she can get “fancy” coffee without the risk of cross contamination from nut milks/etc. I also appreciate the owner’s quick and thorough response when I emailed with questions. Highly recommend!”
“I really think this bar is great! Great beer, the 8-ball mystery shot, and fun cocktails- everytime i have been it is a lot of fun and the bartenders are kind and take care to ensure you get what you want- and recently they played the departed on the tv's. Can you imagine being vera farmiga and having that much chemistry with matt damon AND leonardo dicaprio????”
