“I ordered the fried salmon dinner with French fries, coleslaw, a drink, and a slice of lemon pound cake—and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked! The fried salmon came in four to five nice-sized pieces, crispy and fresh. The French fries were hot and crispy, and the coleslaw was fresh with a great crunch. The lemon pound cake was melt-in-your-mouth moist and packed with flavor.
On top of the amazing food, the staff was extra accommodating and very friendly. The restaurant was neat and clean, which made the experience even better. I will definitely be back to 7 Mile Fish & Chicken. Thanks! 😊🙌“

“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

“I love to support this restaurant. I learned about it when I moved to the area. My food is always hot and fresh! I’m not sure who this one gentleman is, but his customer service is a breath of fresh air. I’m so glad when he answers the phone. For me, customer service is where it starts. If that’s not a priority, I will not patronize. Unfortunately, I had a not so pleasant experience with one of the ladies. It wasn’t a confrontation, but her demeanor came off as if taking orders was outside of her scope of work. A positive attitude goes a long way. It makes the day better for everyone. I just gave her patience and grace. You never know what someone is going through. Not a big deal and I understand, but I thought it was worth mentioning because hopefully it helps. I will gladly continue to support 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾“

“I like red beans and rice I was disappointed that they gave me more than half a cup of rice and when I went back to voice my concerns they took their dear sweet time to rectify the situation, needless to say I probably won't be ordering that side dish again however I love the chicken.“

“Pollo Chapin is a fantastic little lunch or dinner spot in Southwest Detroit. If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken is delicious! The chicken was deliciously seasoned and served hot. They were busy. However, they were moving at a steady pace to accommodate the customers. They are located inside of the gas station on Rosa Parks Boulevard and Gylnn Court. The staff are courteous and friendly. I will visit this location again.

“This was my first time coming here but not my first time tasting their food. Someone gave me some of their catfish and fries and I enjoyed it. That's why I had to find where they were located and come myself. I ordered catfish, tenders ,honey biscuits and fries for dinner. Very tasty! Yummy, yum .“

“This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal. I will be back, a lot!“
