“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

“I love to support this restaurant. I learned about it when I moved to the area. My food is always hot and fresh! I’m not sure who this one gentleman is, but his customer service is a breath of fresh air. I’m so glad when he answers the phone. For me, customer service is where it starts. If that’s not a priority, I will not patronize. Unfortunately, I had a not so pleasant experience with one of the ladies. It wasn’t a confrontation, but her demeanor came off as if taking orders was outside of her scope of work. A positive attitude goes a long way. It makes the day better for everyone. I just gave her patience and grace. You never know what someone is going through. Not a big deal and I understand, but I thought it was worth mentioning because hopefully it helps. I will gladly continue to support 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾“

“This was the best price I’ve paid for 50-100 piece dark. The chicken was fresh , cleaned properly ,no burnt taste and seasoned well.Im not a fan of dark meat. I ordered for a baby shower but when I say this chicken was so good I ate several pieces.Everyone ask where I got it from.“

“Pollo Chapin is a fantastic little lunch or dinner spot in Southwest Detroit. If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

Parking: This is a busy gas station usually two or three spaces to just pick up chicken are available.

“This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal. I will be back, a lot!“

“You guys have to be patient even though I waited a little longer for my food but they made it up to me the cashier and the lady that handed me the food Janae and the cashier we're very sweet they even gave me a shake for my birthday. So guys be patient with them people are short-staffed nowadays appreciate that we still have Burger King in our neighborhood. Bless“
