“Now listen up!! I’m from the south! North Carolina born and raised. I was only here for the summer. I’ve been craving soul food! NOW let’s me tell you. I got the fried catfish with candied yams, Mac and cheese, additional side of collards and a piece of cornbread! CATFISH HAD out of this world seasoning and the perfect crisp to it. The collards I loved and YAMS boy oh boy. The only thing is the Mac and cheese could’ve been seasoned more but overall everything was a 10/10. Anyone who says anything negative about this place has no taste buds and that’s just that. Southern girl approved!“

“Had out of town guest, went there on a Sunday for lunch, first the hostess look like she just woke up and throw on the first thing she saw. Second our waitress arrived with an ATTITUDE slam our water on the table and threw our straws down and walk away didn't speak or introduce herself. Third a very sweet young lady came to serve us name STACIE she was very attentive, she stop us from leaving with her friendly attitude. Food was great, I come back if STACIE still there.“

“The place itself can be very mild or very wild, it just depends on the night and how it goes, that being said, dont be the guy who gets too hyper and is spilling people's drinks everywhere by acting crazy.

Drinks are minimum of $10 unless you get a beer which is not much less
Music is good but only on the second and sometimes 3rd floor, but thats just personal preference.

I wish they had better central A/C Because it gets way too hot“
