2 things before I start. 1. Mr. Chime Time sent me here. 2. I was having a horrible day before this. This was supposed to be comfort food. It was. Idk if y'all switched the Corn bread up but Chime Time ain't like it. The devil is a liar. Corn bread was fire, and usually Corn Bread be weak at Soul Food spots. YES. LORD. It's a Thursday and I feel like I've had a Sunday meal. We googled this place (we are visiting from Kentucky) and the reviews were great so we pulled up! The food, seasonings, all that was on POINT. Truly. Real potatoes. The gravy on the smothered porkchops was... top notch. The porkchops themselves were so tender. The fried catfish, perfectly seasoned. It was great! The peach cobbler is a sin... like it's so good. The banana pudding is... so good. Just overall great!...read full review

Parking is in front of the building. Soul food is very good. The greens, cabbage and yams are all very good. Mac and cheese, is good as well. I’ve tried a few things and the service was good. My only issue was the fried chicken breast dinner was decent not my favorite item. But catfish is good and pork chops were good too and my go to items.
