Now listen up!! I’m from the south! North Carolina born and raised. I was only here for the summer. I’ve been craving soul food! NOW let’s me tell you. I got the fried catfish with candied yams, Mac and cheese, additional side of collards and a piece of cornbread! CATFISH HAD out of this world seasoning and the perfect crisp to it. Customer service is trash. Food is good though. Hours are made up. And even if they are “closed”(everywhere saying it’s still open) they leave their door open while they’re counting money setting themselves up to get robbed
As soon as I got out of my car, the smell of delicious food assaulted my nose. I was hoping the food was as good as it smelled. I was not disappointed. Even though the food was basic, everything was seasoned just right & that made the difference. The jerk wings were not jerk to me, but had a nice smokey flavor.
