“Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

“Detroit soul is possibly the best meal from start to finish I've had in years. Walking in you notice how delicious everything smells, how clean everything is and how friendly everyone who works here is. The food is top notch. The breadding on the catfish fritters made my mouth water, the greens made me want to write home, the mac and cheese was perfectly cooked and the meatloaf was so tender and tasty. Then the dessert! Peach cobbler that made me make obscene noises, the creamy vanilla scoop and the amazing red pop sorbet were bursting with flavorful perfection. I highly recommend going here and trying everything.“

“Such a fun spot and you can sit outside and watch Woodward right downtown, pretty rare, and wander around Parker's Alley afterward. The drinks are delicious, never had the food. The staff are all kind, and I've never been there without having conversation with a stranger. Love this place“

“A tmi review but genuinely the service was amazing. Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“

“Been looking for a great pizza since I moved to the neighborhood. When I tell yall . This pizza Was delicious, IT WAS HOT . It hit all levels on my New Favorite place . The calzone was flavorful, juicy and very very close to the calzone I ate at least once a week from hungry howies before they discontinued it . It was full of content and not hollow at all . “I was a 1st timer walking in. I had my mind and spirit on some REAL down south type of BBQ..I came across this place. When I walked in there was an old school gentleman whom just received his take out. I asked him was this his first time as well and he said noooooo he been coming for over 10yrs!! He suggested the ribs and potatoe salad. Now I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people potato salad..but let me tell you..THEE BEST POTATO SALAD from a restaurant!! And them dog gone RIBS so tender and flavorful!! You can taste the real grill smoked taste..and the sauce is AMAZING!!! I will be back TODAY I had told my Mom about Nunn's and I'm bringing her here. Great customer service!!! I met the Son of the man that started it all. Keep the legacy going. It's a blessing to come across awesome food let alone SERVICE..very welcoming. Thank you“

I highly recommend this restaurant the owner who’s also the server was amazing her daughter(about 8) was her helper and it was amazing. The food was ideally seasoned and you get the feel of the “D” with this experience. The menu was also well priced and the meal size was great. The plantain rum dip was to die for. Not to mention, proper social distancing efforts, available hand sanitizer and for you smokers... ashtray and ability to do so. I loved it and enjoyed myself. Looking forward to my next Detroit visit where I visit the Alley Deck.“

“Theirs not to many places around the city that offer a good, hardy and delicious New Orlean style seafood gumbo but, I happened to be driving around on the westside and was hungry and decided to give a new place I'd heard about from a friend. The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars. I definitely will be back again...I want to try the BBQ Ribs, the fried chicken wings, and for sure, the fried shrimp dinner. P.s., the Banana Pudding was on point“

The pizza 🍕 is always fresh and flavorful, the calzones are perfectly cooked, and the salads 🥗 are crisp and delicious. No matter what I choose, everything is always prepared really well.
One thing I really appreciate is that my food always arrives hot, almost like I picked it up directly from the restaurant. 🔥 That level of consistency really keeps me coming back. The service has also been reliable every single time I’ve ordered.
I always make sure to tip the drivers well — sometimes on my card and sometimes in cash 💵 — because the service deserves it. “It's better than Hungry Howies in terms of service and flavor. I purchased the 2 for 9.99, and ordered 2 large 1 toppings pizzas. It was ready when we arrived. I've also ordered for delivery before and didn't have any problems. The sauce is a little sweet, thats why it wasn't 5 stars.

Update: If you order the salad, make sure they pack everything separately, because it seems like the lettuce may be kept in water. I ordered a salad which was perfect on the first day, but completely soggy by the second day. Thankfully, I had lettuce in the fridge, so I was able salvage most of the salad fixings. Also, make sure you can share the salad because it is rather large for one person.“
