“Great pizza, great people, great service. Nono's pizza is a little bit different than most other pizza places; the pizza is more subtle and soothing. It's not a flavorbomb going to explode in your mouth, it's a steady, relaxed, pleasant trickle of flavor, and that's a good thing. It's a refreshing change of pace. My theory is Nono's relies less on salt and sugar additives, which brings the natural flavors more to the forefront. After enjoying some of Nono's pizza, I feel more calm and relaxed than anything. Would recommend.“

“Had lunch her for the first time today. We got the pulled pork, brisket and fries. Fries were crisp and seasoned to perfection. Pulled pork was tender — and there wasn’t a bit of fat to be seen. The brisket hands down was the star though. The most tender and juicy I have ever had. We lived in the south for years and this is by far and away the best bbq we’ve had. Their barbecue sauce is equally as delicious, I wish I’d ordered an extra! We will be back soon.“

“Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. “First time customers (7/12/2025). We needed to find a new BBQ place to satisfy our taste buds since SHEETZ is taking over 12 & Mound. WE FOUND IT. Ordered the Judges' sampler to try their variety. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. Loved their sauces as well. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“

“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“

“Detroit soul is possibly the best meal from start to finish I've had in years. Walking in you notice how delicious everything smells, how clean everything is and how friendly everyone who works here is. The food is top notch. The breadding on the catfish fritters made my mouth water, the greens made me want to write home, the mac and cheese was perfectly cooked and the meatloaf was so tender and tasty. Then the dessert! Peach cobbler that made me make obscene noises, the creamy vanilla scoop and the amazing red pop sorbet were bursting with flavorful perfection. I highly recommend going here and trying everything.“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

“Decided to try this place for lunch today. Got the Italian calzone lunch combo with fries. The food was ready at the estimated time and was still very hot/fresh when I got it home. The calzone was a good size and great flavor. Fries were crispy. Definitely adding it to my list of go-to places. They had desserts in a display and they looked really good as well. I typically visit Texas Roadhouse Roseville once every 2-3 weeks, and I exclusively sit at the bar, whether I'm by myself, with my wife, or with friends. The reason is simple: the bar service is outstanding, and their hospitality is simply unmatched. I'd particularly like to recognize two amazing bartenders, Jackie and Nellie. While all the bar staff I've encountered have been excellent, these two are incredible to watch together. Their teamwork and connection while managing both a packed bar and an intense service station is remarkable. They handle everything while maintaining genuine smiles, offering warm greetings, and delivering fantastic service. The bar atmosphere feels just like your favorite local watering hole, where they don't just remember your name, but know exactly what you like to drink. Often, my favorite cocktail is being prepared before I've even taken my seat - that's what I call exceptional service! I witness this same attention to detail with other customers too, as they too are greeted by name. Considering I'm only there every 2-3 weeks, their ability to remember customers' names and drinks sets this restaurant well above any other chain I've visited. This personal touch is typically only found in beloved neighborhood bars. In the 10 months I've been coming here, I've never had a disappointing meal. I've explored various menu options beyond their excellent steaks, and everything arrives with perfect timing, allowing enough time to enjoy appetizers or salad/chili before the main course. If you need anything extra (condiments, cheese, etc.), the attentive bartending staff responds quickly, even heading to the kitchen themselves if necessary. This recognition of the outstanding bar staff is long overdue. After experiencing their wonderful service again this past weekend, I felt compelled to take some time to write. “I had a taste for barbecue, went to Ken on Gratiot and they were closed, so I Google barbecue near me and Stonewood Smokehouse came up on Utica and Gratiot. He was like come sit down, want a drink, I told him no he asked me what I wanted I told him ribs he had the waitress bring me a menu he was very nice. So I got a rib dinner. “I was a 1st timer walking in. I had my mind and spirit on some REAL down south type of BBQ..I came across this place. When I walked in there was an old school gentleman whom just received his take out. I asked him was this his first time as well and he said noooooo he been coming for over 10yrs!! He suggested the ribs and potatoe salad. Now I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people potato salad..but let me tell you..THEE BEST POTATO SALAD from a restaurant!! And them dog gone RIBS so tender and flavorful!! You can taste the real grill smoked taste..and the sauce is AMAZING!!! I will be back TODAY I had told my Mom about Nunn's and I'm bringing her here. “I’m new to the area and ordered pizza and breadsticks from here a couple weeks ago..it was delicious.. Today, I found myself too lazy to cook for myself again and again I put my trust into passport pizza. I was not disappointed. This time I tried the bone in wings. Boy oh boy, when I tell you they were the best carry out wings I have ever had.. I mean it..I was unsure about the mango habanero sauce so it was suggested when I ordered that I get them with the sauce on the side. Well, I ate all of the wings and I still don’t know what the sauce tastes like. They were so good it never even crossed my mind to cover them with anything.. So, if anyone is new to the area (or not) and is unsure of where to order food from.. skip the big pizza chains you’ve been eating and try Passport Pizza in Roseville on 10 mile n Gratiot. You’ll be happy you did.“

“The pizza they serve here are great. I have no problem with the food they serve here. Keep in mind that the other reviews are old, from 2018 and 2015. Don't let these review stop you from trying this place out. Their bbq pizza are to die for and I suggest trying them out. There is one down side to this place though. The price tag. They can be little expensive but I think it still worth it if you going out once while kinda thing. It wouldn't be the kinda deal where I would go every week. It still good food. Give it a try.“

“It's better than Hungry Howies in terms of service and flavor. I purchased the 2 for 9.99, and ordered 2 large 1 toppings pizzas. It was ready when we arrived. I've also ordered for delivery before and didn't have any problems. The sauce is a little sweet, thats why it wasn't 5 stars.

Update: If you order the salad, make sure they pack everything separately, because it seems like the lettuce may be kept in water. I ordered a salad which was perfect on the first day, but completely soggy by the second day. Thankfully, I had lettuce in the fridge, so I was able salvage most of the salad fixings. Also, make sure you can share the salad because it is rather large for one person.“
